Premium Review memorybits.co.uk: Nice web site, terrible shipping and communication. (183 words)

Website ordered from is R4I.co.uk but this is a micro-site owned by memorybits. I would like to say that my experience with this company was good .. it started well. Their web site is good, well laid out and the ordering process was smooth. Their web site states same day shipping on a 3-5 day service from Jersey. Unfortunately, ...  Read the complete review

I have also had a bad experience using this company. I ordered a replecement battery for my Daughter's phone (Motorola PEBL) on the 30th December. I had searched a number of websites and finally came accross this one which was significantly cheaper than many other web sites and was doing a frees postage offer at the time. I ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review memorybits.co.uk: MemoryBits Refuse Refund folllowing their faulty advice (176 words)

In November 2008 I ordered some RAM from MemoryBits. I used the 'Easy to use memory finder' on the 'MemoryBits' website to find the right memory. On arrival the memory was clearly wrong, wouldn't fit etc. I returned it for a refund. Upon not receiving a refund I have been continually fobbed off by their call-handlers. First of all ...  Read the complete review

I placed an order on 02 December, 2007 . The order never arrived . I emailed several times . Each time I was told "The order will be with you shortly" - it never arrived . Finally - after a year - I emailed them again and was told "Im sorry but we are not sending an order out that is over a year old. That is too long to leave it. " . I would say avoid them like the plague .

Very nice website, easy to use.

Wondered why my stuff hadn't arrived after 5 days so i instant chatted to their customer service and was told half had shipped and the other half was in stock and would be shipping that day.

Checked two days later and was told it would now be arriving in stock later that day, and shipping later that day too, and the other half my order now had no record of existing. Could not get a straight answer so i've asked them to cancel the order.

Still trying to get confirmation that it's been cancelled.

I am far from impressed.

UTTER UTTER CROOKS, do not go anywhere near. The 5 star review on this site was proably written by the company. They are awful. they lie constantly. never ship goods and then refuse any refund. I ordered a memory card from them and it said it would take max 4 days. After a week, i checked my order and it was still awaiting dispatch. ...  Read the complete review

Memory Bits is an internet mail order company from St. Helier, Jersey. The Dooyoo blurb in the introduction says that it is in the north east of England, but this is incorrect. It sells a whole range of flash memory and the accessories that go with it. The range is selected from brand name companies to give value for money and ...  Read the complete review

I was looking for a place to buy a memory card for my mobile phone and came across this site due to it having a Google Checkout facility. The site looked like it was owned by a small internet business and as I have brought memory cards, USB sticks and even a PC tower from a small business on the internet all with excellent service I ...  Read the complete review
