I saw a string of adverts for Moonpig.com on TV, so when I had forgotten a birthday card for a friend the name came to mind. It's that little jingle they have in the advert that stuck in my mind. It is very cleverly marketed.

The first thing you have to do on the site is to register your details and the form is much like any other and if you read the small print it tells you it is secure and your data is protected and blah! blah! blah!

Anyway, I completed it.

The next stage is to choose the type of card and I selected a funny one, added all the other details and chose the size. You can have an A5 design at £2.99 delivered first class, or an A4 version for £5.99 delivered. I chose the A5 version because I think this equates to what I would expect to pay in a decent card shop, plus a first class stamp. (Or maybe I chose this size because I am too tight to pay for the larger one!)

Before finalising payment and adding recipient's address, etc, there is the opportunity to amend anything on the card. I did actually have to change a spelling mistake which I'd made because I was in too much of a hurry.

You also earn iPoints on each purchase and you can use these to get a discount on future purchases from the site, or on another one, if you have an iPoints account.

I did this first thing in the morning, requested immediate delivery and the card arrived the next day. If you order before 2pm they dispatch the same day.

My friend was delighted by it and said that it was nice quality and very original. She has registered on the site herself, so their card made quite an impact on her.

I thought it was simple to use the tools on the site, delivery was fast and the quality of the cards is very good. I was a little bit wary of using the service but I will certainly use it again.
