Advantages: Unique and Personal Cards For Your Loved Ones

Disadvantages: Bit pricey to do all the time sadly!

Moonpig.com was established in July 2000 enabling customers to make unique cards for any friend, family member or occasion and I was first introduced to there selection of cards about two years ago through my work, its only a small company that I work for so we each get a birthday card and the receptionist who organised them started to order from Moonpig.com and had us all in fits of laughter from the words used and images on the cards.

If you are one of those people who can spend hours in card shops looking for the perfect card than this site is definitely for you, you can choose from 1000s of cards from humorous cards, cards that look like newspapers where you pick stories about your loved one to go on it, cards where you can upload your own photos and cards with photos of well known places on, whatever you are looking for you can find it here, all you need to do is search or browse through the available category's.

There is a special section on the site called moonpiglet which offers children's cards and I think that its a nice touch that they separate them from the main site to make it easier for people just looking for younger peoples cards.

I have ordered from the site twice this year, to be honest I tend to shop in cheap card shops but both my boyfriend and brother turned 30 this year and I wanted to get them both something a bit more special.

In the case of my boyfriend I decided that this was how I was going to tell him that we were off to New York as his present so I searched for New York, found an image of the Empire State and then added the text onto my card.

A great thing about the site is that the prices are set no matter what you pick and how personal it is, you can pick from small cards at £1.50 each although you have to order 4, a standard card is £2.99 and a large card is £5.99.

First Class delivery is charged at 47p but if its urgent its £7.83 for Special Delivery, I would recommend ordering in advance due to this!

You can buy a pre paid card from Moonpig if you plan to use them a lot, if you top up £20 they give you £5 free and if you purchase £40 they give you £10 free which is a good deal.

On both my orders I have received the cards next day, you can choose for Moonpig to post directly to the receiptant if you don't live near them which is great, if your doing this you can order it but ask Moonpig not to send until the day before the special occasion or birthday.

You can also order flowers from them to go with your card.

If your a member of Ipoints you can also earn points for each order placed and currently 200 extra Ipoints on your first order, this will always track as you tell Moonpig your login details for Ipoints on each order and I got points the next day both times too.

This is a great site although not one I would use for every card as I can't afford too, if I could I would though.
