Advantages: Great service, efficient

Disadvantages: Quite costly

I first learnt about Moonpig through their television advertisements. Whilst I actually find the advert quite annnoying it did make me decide to take a look at their website.

A couple of weeks after first visiting their site, I realised that my friends birthday was the following day and in all honesty I had completely forgotten. I was unwell at the time and so remembering Moonpig, I decided to return to the site and see if they could help me out, instead of having to drag myself out of bed to the shops.

The registration process was quick and easy and quite self explanatory. After registering I started to have a look at their vast range of cards. This actually took me quite a while as there are so many to choose from. Once you have decided you simply write a personalised message on either the front, inside or back of the card (or all of these if you wish) and provide the recipients details.

You do have a choice of getting the card delivered to yourself or you can have it sent directly to the person. With me already being late in purchasing, I decided it would be better to send it to them directly so I simply filled in the details and left the rest to Moonpig.

Sure enough my card was recieved the following day and there was a very pleased recipient. The cost of the cards varies. I personally chose a standard card costing £2.99 but they can go up to £5.99 which is very expensive for a card, however the service is very good and your paying extra for the personalised touch.

Overall, I found Moonpig to be easy to use, customer friendly and very efficient. I wouldn't use them all the time as it would prove to be very experience, but it is ideal for that last minute purchase.

Summary: Great for people who leave things to the last minute!
