Having not ever seen or heard of music box before, I was quite sceptical about their legitimacy and background, so decided to do a little digging around before trying them out. After asking several colleagues, who had used them, they had all assured me they had no problems and did not hesitate in recommending them to me, so that was good enough ? off I went to the site, credit card in hand.
(As it turns out, I have since discovered that this company is quite a big organisation, with a number of high street shops and a very well know dealer ? however, I had never heard of them, and its better safe than sorry eh?)

When you go to their site, you are greeted with a bog blue page, and splashed over it the statement ?ALL Chart CD?s £9.99? which is very impressive. When you click to enter the main site (you are first taken to a front end page ? something I don?t like I web sites) you again see the blue background, only the site is now showing a list of current offers etc. he design of the site is based upon a blue & yellow theme, and while looking slightly amateurish, does the job and navigation is taken care of adequately.

On offer at the site are all the newest and most popular music CD?s, priced at the promised £9.99 which is very good indeed. Also on sale are DVD?s, again priced well at £155 and upwards, although the prices for two disk sets seem a little OTT at £22, so chances are you will find DVD?s cheaper elsewhere?
Information about the items is rather limited, although you do get a track listing and image of CD?s and a little bit of info on the DVD?s

While not the largest inventory of items, the selection is good for mainstream stuff, and older items such as CD?s get the £5 - £7 treatment, and there are some real bargains to be had here. If the bargains aren?t good enough, then there is more good notice in the way of postage charges? While delivery is not free, it is only a measly £1, not matter ho
w much you order, so if you order a dozen albums and a dozen DVD?s in the same order, miraculously, the postage will still be a single pound ? mad or what?

As for the delivery times, I placed my order on a Monday afternoon, and the CD?s arrived on the following Thursday, which is very impressive indeed. Not quite up to the almost always next day miracles of Amazon.co.uk, but some of the best service I had received, with great prices and superb delivery charges.

The service I have received so far has been excellent, and have not yet (thankfully) had to contact them for refunds or exchanges, so as a result cannot comment on their after sales service. That said, it?s a good point that all good have arrived me without a problem and says something about their efficiency.
Overall, I am very pleased with them, will certainly bear them in mind when I am next in the market to purchase CD?s ()probably not for DVD?s though) and would also recommend them.
