I always shop at either Gap or Next for clothes whether it?s for my daughter or for my cousins. Last time I was in Next I saw an advertisement for the website. I don?t know why I was surprised really because all the major stores seem to have website?s these days. Well, anyway I was really excited about visiting the Next website. It was very fast to navigate. Well presented so finding my way round the site was no problem. It has seven main categories: -Women It has all the suits, blouses, coats, tops in this section. From smart to casual to formal to informal. The price range is very good and they have a range of sizes from size 8-16 so it should suit most people. -Men Like the women section you will find most of the items you find in the male department. Like trousers, shirts, ties, jumpers, t-shirts etc. Again the price range was very good. -Children The children section had clothes for boys and girls from new born upto 9. The range of clothes was really good however I do prefer to buy children clothes in the store especially in winter because it?s important to make sure the clothes are warm. -Homeware This has a number of sub sections like items/accessories for bathroom, office, curtains and blinds, wall coverings, kitchen, lighting, gifts, bedroom, storage. Simply click on the section that interests you and browse through the items. -Quick shop This is for customers who have a copy of the Next Directory. To order any item from a current publication, simply enter the full item code. You can then check stock availability and arrange a convenient delivery. If you do not have your Next directory you can order your copy from the site. To use the Quick shop section all you need is your account number. It?s actually very easy to use and it?s very much like using a catalogue from Kays or Littlewoods. You can also keep track of your item and see how long before you will
receive it. -Your account Here you can access your account details. Keep track any orders/deliveries that are being processed. It contains account statement summary, option to make a payment etc. -Help If you have any problems navigating the site or any general problems. Then they have a very comprehensive Help section. With Frequently asked questions, shopping online tips, terms and conditions etc. If you do not fancy using the site to place a order you can conduct your local store search using the website and check what they have it stock. So the site can be useful as a cross referencing point. Delivery Information They offer a next day delivery service for all orders placed before 5pm Monday to Friday. Orders placed on Saturday and up to 5pm on Sunday will be delivered on Monday. You can confirm your delivery arrangements and specify a time if you want. Orders are delivered in special Next packaging. However, there is a delivery charge of £2.95 but the fee includes large items, with the exception of Fresh Flowers and selected Home items. However, they do not accept orders from outside of the UK at this time. Free Returns Returns are free of charge. All you have to do is return any unused item within 14 days for a full refund to your account. You can use the following methods: Returns to Store You can return items through our stores (excluding large, bulky items. Stores cannot exchange items). You must remember to bring your delivery note. Returns to Courier Call 0845 600 7000 to arrange for your courier to collect items from home. Returns by Post A pre paid label will be enclosed with your parcel I have next.co.uk on four or five occasions now and have found the service very efficient. It?s very easy to use and placing an order and receiving an item is hassle free. All in all it is a very good way of shopping at Next without going out in the cold.

- 26/10/02 I always look here first if I'm planning a shopping trip but I'd never buy direct from them without checking out the material, fit etc. Umm, I'm one fussy shopper I'm afraid lol |

- 26/10/02 Neat and concise opinion but I don't really like shopping in Next, apart for my sister-in-law:-)

- 26/10/02 This sounds interesting, but I'd prefer to go to the shops as the clothes don't always fit me. |
