Bought phone in Nov on cashback and free line rental. They sent wrong phone, ok we were told to send back and correct phone would be sent. They then sent the SAME phone back to us. We returned for a 2nd time early Dec. When we did not receive another phone, we contacted OSPS who advised us that the contract with them had been cancelled by 'somebody' in their warehouse. They couldn't do anything about it and all offers had been canc. We contacted Orange who in the meantime had taken DD for monthly payment. They told us we couldn't cancel the 12 month contract with them, if we tried to cancel DD we would be blacklisted and they would send in creditors to get the rest of the money owed! We now have a £360 contract for what should have worked out at £30 with OSPS with cashback. We have now contacted Trading Standards who have advised us exactly what communications to send. They also advise how to word the letters. Awaiting a response now from OSPS, assuming no response we are taking them to the small claims court. I hope anybody who reads this has not already taken out a contract with OSPS because you are asking for a whole heap of expense and aggravation. I just wish I had found this site first!
