Advantages: their offers might sound good but they dont keep their promises

Disadvantages: poor customer service, no promised cheques, gimmick.

I've been a customer of Onestopphoneshop.co.uk since August 2006. Originally the deal for the phone i wanted (k800i) was 7months free line rental. I ordered it and had my money taken out from the company. After several days I still didn't get my phone even though it was promised for next day delivery. I phoned them up and was told that my order has been canceled and reordered again. They didn't even inform me about this until i phoned them up.

When I got my phone back, I've realised that they have changed the offer to 6months free line rental! I phoned them up to complain about this and I was told I would be offered a free car charger. I said I wasn't happy about this and they offered me a £35 cheque ( equivalent to one month line rental). I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED THIS CHEQUE AFTER 7 MONTHS. Everytime I phone them, they tell me the same thing... that I need to wait a bit longer.

I also have a problem with their CASHBACK offer. My first cashback claim was in January 2007. I sent the bills and cashback claim form at the right dates with recorded delivery. Royal mail has confirmed that it's been delivered to the right address. It's supposed to take upto 21 working days for the cheque to come through. Now it's April and still I haven't got my cashback cheque yet. I phoned the company again today and I was told I have to wait upto 35 days and that they have to phone the bank and contact somebody etc...

SO HERE'S A SUMMARY:
1. MY CHEQUE OF £35 HASNT COME YET
2. MY CASHBACK CHEQUE OF £70 HASN'T COME YET

AND THIS IS AFTER 7 MONTHS!!!!

People will visit onestopphoneshop and will be tempted by their seemingly good offer but my best advice is to just AVOID this company.

Summary: don't waste your time and money with this company. AVOID full stop.
