Advantages: Could be in your town!

Disadvantages: Not in mine

How many times have you wanted ‘something special’ but have never really been able to find exactly what you’re looking for? Well, look no more because this site is an absolute gem!
Whether you want to treat yourself to something or buy a really nice gift for a special occasion, then this has to be a place to check out.

When you first visit ‘arranaromatics.com’, you are presented with a neatly set out home page. It’s a lilac color with blue accents and everything is easily accessible.

Across the top of the page are the following links.
Home – quick reset while surfing.
Search – enables you to search for a specific product.
Help – gives access to contact details, FAQ and information of local high street stockists.
Register – lets you become a member to receive a number of benefits including online discounts and special offers. They also mentioned free samples in the near future! It took me less than a minute to sign up!
Your Acct. – lets you update your personal information.

Down the left hand side of the screen are loads of different links that take you to the various goodies on offer! I’ll try and give you a little on each of them, just to tempt you!

The first one is Pure and there are 3 pages in this one. The spiel is that Pure is a modern range based on essential oils to bring feelings of peace, love, joy and well-being. The range includes
Foam bath with vitamin E beads
Pure foam bath
Cream bath
Bath grains
Moisturizing body gel with silver glitter.

The next link had me completed flummoxed! It’s called Edibles, why would they be selling food? At least, that’s what I was thinking at the time! Boy was I surprised to discover candles! 2 pages of scented candles with fragrances like coffee, cinnamon apple pie, fresh-baked bread, carrot cake, vanilla ice cre
am and chocolate fudge. Apparently all the candles are hand finished and last for apprx. 30 hours – not too bad, eh!

There are another three links devoted to candles; these include Xmas candles, mood candles and votive candles. The Xmas one deserves a special mention just for the fragrances that include mulled wine, cranberry sauce and plum pudding! There are a total of 7 pages devoted to these candles – loads to choose from!

They have a section called Apothecary, it says that the traditional remedies are the inspiration for the range of bath and body products. There are 2 pages here and they use ingredients like Aloe Vera, Primrose, Geranium, Jojoba and Lavender.

Aromatherapy is one that I instantly recognized; after all, I’ve read enough on Dooyoo to know enough to be dangerous! They tell me that it ‘focuses on sensuous, relaxing and awakening scents to fit the mood! There is a load to choose from within the 4 pages listed.

Expressions was another link virtually devoted to candles although they do have four gift sets called Love, Joy, Friendship and Thank You! Each of the sets contains a candle, foam bath and soap. The candles are fragranced pillar candles that last for apprx. 60 hours.

There are 3 pages devoted to Lavender and Tea Tree, which state that lavenders rejuvenating antiseptic qualities are combined with the anti-bacterial cleansing of tea tree.

They have a whole section of travel-sized luxuries in the following ranges, Apothecary, Honey and Orange Blossom, Lavender and Tea Tree and Pure.

There is a special link called the Visitors Center. This has several different links once you enter it – they are; About Us, Specials, Aroma of the Month, Features, Body Guide, About Arran and Endorsements. You can also browse the product range from this link.

I saved the one I purchased to last so that I could tell you exactly what I thought about it! It&
#8217;s called After the Rain and has a wonderful light scent. The spiel is ‘A simple uncomplicated luxury, white conceals rose petals and cut grass’. To be honest I can’t smell cut grass at all! The range includes moisturized body lotion, moisturized gel with gold glitter, an exfoliating bar and a hand soother. These are the particular items I got in a gift set that I bought at a friend’s party! That’s how I ended up finding this site – the things you discover when all you want to do is get a little more info!
So far, I’ve tried the exfoliating bar, the body lotion and the hand soother and, I have to admit, they are brilliant.
I have really dry skin (I’m allergic to the hard water in Norfolk!) so trying to keep from looking like some dried up old prune can be quite a pain! My skin has become MUCH softer since using this stuff – no more scales, yippee!
These items weren’t very cheap, 8.99 for the body lotion, which is in a 300ml plastic bottle with a pump dispenser, which is very economical – you really don’t need to use a lot. I bought these items as a set which cost me 19.99 but if I bought them individually they would have been around 10.00 more.

The prices for arranaromatics aren’t cheap, but I firmly believe you get what you pay for! Prices seem to go between 0.99 and 8.99 for most items. The gift sets range from 9.99 to 29.99. Luxury is worth the little extra and, in my humble opinion, that’s just what you’re getting!

It’s also worth mentioning that I was able to discover exactly where arranaromatics are located! They have a map on their site that shows you how to get there – it’s about an hour away from Glasgow! They have been based on the Isle of Arran since 1971 and deliveries are done by Parcel Force – weather permitting!

Delivery charges are calculated on the combined weight of your purc
hases and your preferred method of delivery (whether you want it standard or express!). It’s also worth noting that they deliver worldwide! Their aim is to dispatch your order within one working day, subject to availability.

The conclusion to my little opinion is this, I would highly recommend the products I’ve used as they are excellent and a visit to their website has made my Xmas shopping list twice as long as it was – there were so many things I want to try and I could buy loads of gifts too!
