Online Flower Shops - Tips and Comparison

I am very very upset about the service I've received from Serenata flowers. Before placing my order I called the hospital to where they were to be delivered to and checked that they receive deliveries and was told that they do and I was given the ward details. I then placed my order online on the Thursday and was then emailed back on the Friday at 17:58 to be told that they couldn't deliver the flowers. I had then called the hospital again to check this and was told yes they do accept deliveries and was given to ward address to which the courier needed to go. Flowers seemed much smaller than they did on the site and half of the leaves had been eaten. I could get a better bunch of flowers from a local green grocer for £20 cheaper, very dissapointed.

At first I thought they only deliver to florists, but it's possible to order from them as individual too. THeir strongest point is the quality of the flowers which exceeded all my expectations. Just beautiful! I got just as many positive reactions on my wedding day about the flowers as about my dress. Their service is excellent too. I ordered flowers from serenata for my partner's birthday a week ahead of time... come the day, nothing arrived. Very very disappointed. When I called up the next day, the customer service person was very apologetic and immediately offered me a refund or another 'deluxe' bouquet to be delivered (no refund). I got my money back and won't be using them again.

I have to offset another reviewer's experience because I've used bloomstoday.com for awhile and love them. A lot of time I call up after finding what I like online but that is just because I like dealing with people. The thing I love about bloomstoday is not only is the service speedy (they have always got my flowers delivered that day but if you pay a few extra bucks they can usually get them delivered in a few hours).
