I first met Eddie about four months ago. My wife and I were 'doing' a boot sale in our hometown, and were about to pack up after a few hours, when a tall, dark, craggy, but good looking man approached our table and asked to look at our LP's.

He was a cross between that bloke from Bargain Hunt, David Dickinson, and Lovejoy, complete with denim jeans and denim jacket. Must be in his late 50's, but, a trendy chap, bit like an aging rockstar type, hanging on to his youth for as long as he can.

He was very affable, and after perusing our music collection, he picked the finest LP I had. It was Mary Hopkins "Those were the days" album from around 1970. I knew it was worth a bit, and so did he. So, after some haggling, we settled on £20. He told me that he has a website offering a huge selection of vintage and rare items of music, and invited me to look.

When I did, a few days later, I was surprised to see my record on there for £75!
Still, that's business, I suppose.
I found the site to be a gold mine to the record collector. Eddie has a very large database of music for sale, from Rock'n'Roll, Soul, Reggae, Rockabilly, Jazz, Country, Soundtracks and Comedy. It is simply laid out, with alphabetical listings of every artist and group you can think of. Whether it be a vintage EP or rare CD, Eddie seems to have it. The condition of each item is clearly marked, whether it be mint or very good, or fair, etc. When you arrive on the listing you want, from left to right you have the Format, Artist, Title, Label, Cat. no, Condition, and Price.
It's all straight forward stuff.

You can pick up a single for as little as £1.50, and can pay up to several hundreds for those extra special items. Postage charges are at cost. If you don't like trawling through grimy boxes at boot sales, or record fairs, don't! You may as well surf through Eddiesrecords and see what he's got. I bet you
