In general online shopping allows consumers to compare prices over the internet and buy goods lower than RRP however it can also be a frustrating experience. When I buy something I like to believe that I have purchased something at the lowest possible price. There is nothing worse than ordering an item and then next day that item you ordered has seen a 50% price drop on a few websites.

The first piece of advice I would give, if you're after a specific item but not a particular brand, for example you want a memory card for your digital camera but anyone will do as long as it's SCHC Class 6 to give an example, visit hotdealsuk. Enter the search box and look for memory card bargains. You may not find the exact specification card you're after but you will be able to find a few bargains making great savings. Not only this, but hotdealsuk has a lot of forums with people discussing which online shops are dodgy and which ones you can trust.

This leads me to my next point, never order from a website just because it has a security certificate and is all nicely laid out. If there's a website I've never heard about, I do a google search, check some forums to see if anyone has any feedback. Following these rules will allow a pleasant online shopping experience.
