Gameplay.com
by yateseyb
Gameplay is a website that specialises in games (Shock!), and sells games in all modern platforms such as PC, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PSP, DS and others.
*Website Layout*
The layout of the website is very good, it has a general theme of purple and black banners with white a white background and black ... text. The website is very easy to navigate, everything is categorised well and so saves time having to look through different game titles, the website also has a search bar so it can take little over a few second to find the game you want.
*Variety of Games*
Gameplay is a website which is always one of the first to know when a game is due to be released, and is always well informed on the details of the game such as how many days until the release of a game.
From the games I have wanted to purchase in the past, Gameplay has always had them on sale on their website, also Gameplay always stocks their games well and so means you wont be disappointed to find that game you've been waiting for is sold out.
*Pricing*
Gameplay compared to other websites is nothing special, it usually has identical pricing to other online games retailers, and most new releases are priced at £40, which is the same pricing as other websites such as play.com, gamestation.co.uk and many others.
Delivery with gameplay is completely free, and the delivery is usually on time and within 4 working days. Read the complete review |

Cex.co.uk

I first discovered CEX while in holiday in Edinburgh, and was very surprised by their wide range of good quality second hand products. Their prices of products are quite low and I now shop there on a regular basis.
I don't feel the need to pay £10 for a dvd that I can pick up for a couple of pound at my local CEX and that is ... why I highly recommend them. They also offer you the ability to trade-in old games, cds, and dvds. Although they may not be worth much if they've been around for years, the money offered is generally fair and you can get more for an item if you trade it in for something else that they're selling in-store. Even better is the fact that you can check the prices and trade-in values of products online at cex.co.uk before you actually go down to your local store.
Overall an absolutely fantastic store and the fact they now sell cds is even better for me! Try them out you won't be disappointed! Read the complete review |

Blooming Marvellous
by sambam000
When I found out I was pregnant, I trawled the internet looking for mail order catalogues relating to pregnancy & babies. I figured if I was going to be bored for 8.5 months, I may aswell have a bit of reading material to be going on with....!
One of the catalogues I ordered was for Blooming Marvellous. My catalogue ... arrived promptly & consisted of 2 parts - one catalogue covered baby & nursery, the other covered maternity wear. The range of products wasn't vast, but did comprise a selection of clothing & nusery essentials not seen anywhere else. I really liked a lot of the items in both catalogues, but didn't order anything straightaway, since I'd only just found out I was pregnant.
Since then I have received frequent mailings from the company, and have also regularly checked the company's website. I occasionally receive voucher codes for discounts & free shipping, which have lured me into placing 2 orders with them.
Firstly I ordered a grey vest. Big deal, I hear you cry! But, I wanted a maternity vest that was ruched, but ruched only at the front (meaning the front was much longer tha the back), & this was the cheapest retailer I could find one at. The vest was fantastic - it was SO comfy & became my maternity staple, fitting well throughout my pregnancy due to the shape & lycra content. Looking back, I should have ordered more in different colours, because I realised how hard well-fitting maternity clothes are to come by!
My second purchase was a big fluffy bunny. He was just too cute to resist, & at half price with free delivery I couldn't help myself.
I have read a few bad reviews about Blooming Marvellous, but have to say that my experience with them has been, well, blooming marvellous! The catalogues are modern & 'clean' looking, as is the website. Shopping online is very easy, or you can telephone to place an order. The items I ordered have been good quality at reasonable prices & have been delivered promptly.
Do watch out for the sales though, which happen frequently. Otherwise prices can be a bit on the steep side. Also, it's worth signing up for a catalogue so that you receive further discount codes in the mail. Read the complete review |
