Advantages: Laptop is well build, Laptop got a good testing before Delivery, Good forums on website
Disadvantages: Just the waiting time although im impatient and had i had the money, would of paid for express build
The time had come replace my 4 years old HP pavilion dv6700ea Laptop. So I searched the web to try and find a laptop retailer that would allow me to customise my new laptop and also one that either would proved Linux pre-installed or without a OS. So I stumbled upon PCSpecialists.co.uk and after a lot of reading in there forums i decided that i was going to buy from them. With a modest budget of £400 I was able to get my next laptop:
OS: None (Self installed Linux Mint 11)
CPU: Quad Core Intel I3 2310M 2.1GHz
RAM: 2GB Samsung
HDD: 250GB Harddrive
GFX: Intel HD3000
Screen: 1366x768 Glossy HD ready.
Keyboard: Full size with numeric pad
Ports: 3 USB, 1 HDMI, 1 Ethernet and 2 sound 3.5mm jacks
WIFI: Wifi N ready with Bluethooth
Overall I am very happy with the service laptop was built and Delivered to me in 8 Business days. I was kept well informed of the whole Build process though email and there website.
