We needed a new PC, primarily for my son who has an interest in computer science and an even greater interest in online gaming. I gave him a budget and left him to consider the options. His friends all suggested PC Specialist but to be honest I was a bit dubious at first. It seemed much more sensible to pop down to PC World and talk to them about what we wanted, however the guy we spoke to in PC World seemed to know less about computers than I do. So we tried the PC Specialist website, setting up our custom PC was very easy and at the end of the process the site gave us some suggestions about altering the power supply, it was reassuring then to see that the combinations of components were all compatible. I ordered the machine again without any problems. After a few days I got an e-mail to let me know that a some of the components were on order and that the graphics card might not be available until after Christmas, I was given the option of waiting or selecting another card. We opted for a different graphics card and I was surprised to get e-mail the following day to say that the computer had been built and was being tested. It was delivered only a few days later. My Son tells me that the machine is awesome and I'm sure that if I ever get to play on it I will be able to confirm his analysis. PC Specialist offers a fantastic service and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for a new PC. It looks as though I'll need a PC for myself pretty soon and I know exactly where I'll be getting it. Just don't tell the wife.
