Up until now I have always purchased Dell PCs for the family, and we have been happy in general with "bang for buck." Dell machines however have limited customisation options and therefore usually great for a quick replacement of a previous PC, but lack a full range of functionality options.

With an impending move overseas, I elected to go further down the custmisation track. Hence PC Specialist, after suitable preliminary internet research.

I have been very pleased with what I have achieved, and to be honest, given the extra options, the extra cash has been well spent.

The PC is everything I wanted, with good specs, great build quality, and, for what it is worth looks very good as well.

There was only one hiccough; a delay for want of the top of the range AMD processor. Unfortunately I had to chase up the delay in delivery, and only then found out about the chip non-availabilty. An e-mail from PC Specialist offering me the option of a chip substitution would have allowed me to take that option sooner.

Otherwise I am very happy with the end result, and would use the company next time.
