I ordered my custom build laptop from Pc Specialist after doing a good search around on the internet for reviews and really struggling to find a bad one especially over the past 12months.

I ended up settling on the 15.6 Vortex II which seemed to give the best combination of Portability and power in a HD screened package. The unit arrived and I have to be honest my immediate reaction was that I didn't like the size of the Power Supply that came with it which was really disappointing. Thankfully when I opened up the laptop the reaction was the opposite. It is very well crafted with sleek lines and functionally is almost perfect.

Pros: The Power in the Laptop is amazing
The screen is super bright
The Keyboard is a good size and well laid out
Battery life for the spec is very good (Around 3 hours)
Options for customisations are great and upgrades can always be performed later too!
Graphically these units are customisable to the best on the market (I went with 1 below the top graphics card and a 2.4Ghz i7 with 8gb Ram and this thing plays Battlefield 3 at 1080P no problem)

Cons:
Thickness (but for the spec you can't expect ultra thin as you need cooling)
Size of Power supply - I have looked around ad will be getting a smaller one however, this is a power hungry machine when it gets going so you need a min 190watt. There are smaller ones on the market which you can find if you look hard enough for reasonable money.

Customer service during the purchase process was great and the guy that helped me was very knowledgeable when it came to both the companies products and the general requirements for what I wanted to do. It was with me within 48hours of ordering which was amazing and has worked flawlessly since.
