After having a number of questionable experiences with (perhaps more popular, or at least better known) computer brands, PCspecialists was recommended to me by a friend. Browsing on the site for a few days was fun and interesting, since there are so many combinations of different parts you can try. The time between the order and the delivery was three weeks, which is a long time. However (and this is a big however) two of the parts I wanted in my laptop were not in stock at the time. Instead of wondering if delivery was just delayed for some reason, PCspecialists emailed me to say that the parts were not in stock right now, and when I could expect them to arrive. Which happened right on time, and delivery was done very quickly afterwards.

Since receiving my laptop, I have had no problems at all with it, I play a lot of games and it was necessary for me to have a system that could cope with modern games (battlefield 3, shogun 2, tropico 4) and so on. So far the laptop has taken them all on with no trouble.

It hasn't lagged, or overheated or shown any signs of problems at all. I can run a second monitor through it, though I do have some issues with the laptops construction here; the monitor cable slips out of the back of the laptop quite easily, which is irritating if you have a film on your second monitor.

Overall I've been very impressed by the quality of service at PCspecialists, you get what you pay for, the level of customisation is amazing - the only problem is that you may not know when to stop!
