I recently bought my second PC from PC Specialist - while you do have to wait for the device to be built and configured, the flexibility you get in deciding on the spec and the quality of the finished product very much makes it worth the wait. Build times are on the order of around 10 days, although if you have specific arrangements for delivery it can add considerable lag time to the process. If you want a pre-built machine, it's much quicker but the real value in PC-Specialist for me comes from the fact I can set the system up to be exactly what I want through their system builder.

I am very happy with the PC I was sent, save for a few minor niggles that are simply consequences of the form factor of the case (which I chose, so I can hardly complain). PC Specialist keep you informed at all steps of the process so you know whereabouts in the pipeline your system is, how long it will take, and what the next step is going to be.

I recommend PC Specialist to anyone I know who has PC needs that are more sophisticated than just something for the internet - I have had three people who I recommended them to go on to use them, and as far as I am aware each has been delighted with the system they were provided.
