Advantages: You only get what you want and pay for.
Disadvantages: You may have to wait a while. (but the end result is worth it)
I didn't really expect much from an On-line Computer shop/supplier - but how wrong can one be..!
Their website is easy to understand, their choices virtually limitless and, if you should need "spoken" advice, it's available as well.
I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted before I started but was most impressed when, after selecting my "bits & bobs", back came a message advising me that I'd actually opted for a Power Supply that was in excess of what I'd require. I wonder if any of the High Street Stores would have been so obliging - especially as I saved a little over £80 on their advice.
The Company keep you updated on the progress of your build: mine took just 12 working days which I was informed to expect at the start. Delivery was absolutely spot on time by their Courier and the unit arrived impressively well-packed complete with all necessary cabling etc.
Following their set up instructions, I was up and running within the hour.
Admittedly, I could have to a High Street Store and come home same day with a new PC, but it wouldn't have been what I wanted and would probably have had a load of stuff that I'd never need. This way, I got what I wanted and only paid for what I wanted.
As their name infers, they are PC Specialists: if you just want a bog-standard PC then the High Street might be the place for you. However, if you want that little bit (or even bigger bit) more, then I have to recommend PCSpecialist.co.uk to you.
Summary: Top Class Company.
