Highest quality of customer care
Member Name: Tzarr68
Advantages: Customer care, value, quality
Disadvantages: Options for novice builders were a little overwhelming and could be improved
Having always bought off-the-shelf PCs from high street stores previously, I was a little nervous about using PC Specialist - but I shouldn't have been. The drop-down menus were great and easy to use (although I could have used some guidance that I'd forgot a wireless card) and the pricing was clear. I was particularly impressed that the system told me that I'd over-ordered on the power supply and that I was able to downgrade.
The brand options were impressive and appear to only be of the highest quality. I supplemented this with looking at some reviews of individual components which all confirmed the quality.
The customer care was first class with regular emails updating me on progress as my machine was assembled, tested and dispatched. The computer was delivered when it was going to be, well packaged and was relatively easy to install (for a non-expert like me) - although I still managed to make one or two errors (like which cable to plug into the monitor - which could perhaps be explained a little better) - but then this was down to my ignorance.
Summary: A quality company with first-class customer support. Will definitely recommend
