This is the first review I've done on a website so hope I include all the relevent info for you guys?!

Play.com is my number1 site for ordering online music, DVD's and computer games. The site is very easy to use as you can type in your search or just browse through a category.

CD and DVD prices have always been more expensive in the UK than anywhere else because we impose certain price guidelines to retailers. Because sites like Play.com operate from outside the UK (this one being Jersey based) then they can avoid having to impose these ridiculous prices and sell them at a more realistic price.

Shops like HMV and Virgin have complained about such sites because they say they are undercutting them with their low prices and that it should not be allowed - However they are perfectly well within their rights to do so! And why should we pay over the counter prices when we can save a few quid and order our goods from the comforts of our own home!?

The site is excellently layed out and easy to use and in many respects is like walking round a shop. You can visit the bargain sections, new releases and even, unlike in shops, preview items that haven't been released yet!

The prices are very hard to beat, especially on new releases. I recently purchased a PlayStation 2 game released last week for £29.99 and in most shops it is £39.99!

The site is free to register and it comes with no hassles, eg weekly emails etc. The only time they email you is when your order has been posted or when you have made an enquiry - which is always dealt with quickly, efficiently and with 'no quibbles'. An order of mine did not arrive so I emailed them and they sent a new one immediately, the only thing they asked is that if I received the original would I post it back!

Check this site out for their amazing prices and just do a price comparison on the last thing you bought! With free delivery on every item the only problem with this site is that my Postman has a heavier bag each week!
