A great website with some very reasonably priced items (Play.com)

I had used play.com twice now and on both occasions delivery has been prompt (even in the run up the christmas).
I have found the website easy to navigate as all categories are easily marked or you can do a direct search for the item you are looking for, which saves you a little time. The great thing about play is that there is such a huge selection of items so that if you are like me and like to get everything in one go then this is ideal..although remember to always price check the items that you are buying. It is fair to say that play.com are normally the lowest prices around for items like cd's, games, dvd's (with a few exceptions) and what's more delivery is free. My pet hate about online shopping is when retailers ask silly money for delivery.

All items have images and a brief description to give you a better idea about the product, and for the most part the items also have a star rating and a customer review which gives a more personal account on the item, which is great.

I have never experienced any pop ups when using this site, and advertisement banners seem to be kept to a minimum and do not interfere with the users experience when cursored over.

I have noticed that some people have complained in their reviews about the amount of emails received from play.com when they subscribe, however, i prefer to be kept upto date with all the latest offeres as more often than not there are some great steals. For example, right now there is a January sale with items up to 80% off the retail price, once more more money can be saved by using a discount code at the checkout.(these can be found on various voucher/coupon sites. Furthermore, if you use a cashback site such as Quidco you can save a further 3%, which may seem small but it can all add up to a reasonable sum.

The process of buying the goods are very simple ands well documented on the site for new users, you simply add the goods to the checkout, update the quantity if need be, then once finished shopping click continue to go through to the payment page. Play.com allow you to pay with a range of different credit/debit cards and even offer paypal as an option, which is great for those individuals who do not like to hand out there card details...but rest assured paypal offer secure payment on the card detail page so no outside sources can read those details that you have inputted.

My final thoughts on this online retailer is that it is a good one, if you shop wisely then there is some great bargains to be had and delivery is free so there are no hidden costs. There is something there for people of all ages and tastes and it saves you so much time in comparison to shopping on the highstreet.

Summary: My experience with this shop have been nothing but good.
