Disadvantages: Often lack of information about when an item is expected back in stock.

I have ordered from play on many an occasion and have always been impressed with the service I have experienced, with good quality goods being dispatched promptly and packed very well. It's interesting that the items are shipped from Jersey, which can be considered in one way an international destination and therefore makes the prompt service exceptionally commendable.

It's nice that all shipping is free, often shopping online is spoilt by having to calculate the hidden costs attached to each item. With Play.com it's pretty much the price you see is the price you pay, which is definately a plus point for this online retailer.

Items are quickly labelled should they become out of stock, though sometimes I feel Play.com could give a more accurate date for when an Item is expected back in stock, often just telling you that the item is out of stock and that more will be on their way. One other good thing about Play.com is the fact that it allows you to pre order titles which are yet to be released to the public.

Play has now followed Amazon's example and has it's own market place, where goods are offered from other sellers. This is great for the buyer, because often the competition means they pay the best price to be found anywhere and also helps sellers shift their goods.

Quick service, good communication by email and a website that is easy to use, with very reasonably priced items mean it's 5 stars for Play.com.

Summary: I will continue to use play into the future, an excellent online solution.
