Over the last couple of years, i have spent hundreds of pounds on Play.com mostly on CD's and entertainment media. I even bought all my AS books and spent £100 on them. I have spent more on Play.com by looking at my account history, than any other place on the internet for buying CD's and DVd's. Play.com a couple of years ago more or less invented pricing CD's for much less. HMV used to have the shame to charge £15 per CD. Play.com sources from abroad Jersey and sends from there so whilst it takes longer you save about £5 off the CD price, they tried to ban it but got no where, more and more appeared in the form of CDWOW and 101CD and now HMV and Woolworths have copied the same.

Play.com is now regarded as one of the big interenet retailers and along with Amazon.co.uk they sell a lot every day. Play.com is so popular becausae it sells a variety of items from electronics, books, gadgets, CDs and DVD's and the price is the price - there is no extra for delievery which is what lots of retailers shamefully try and make money out of. Play.com also do brillant sales for CD's £2.99 DELIEVERED, now how amazing is that?

In my expierence, Play.com is quite slow in delievery so dont order if you need it next day but you'll make a lot of savings this way rather than paying HMV £15 for a CD in store, which is what it used to cost in the older days. Play.com managed to charge low prices and gain more customers and therefore be able to carry on doing this. I have nothing praise for them, and i havent had a bad expierence with them from day one. They are fast, the website is neat and easy to use and is fast as well. They have a good search facility and they are very helpful on the phone if you ring them up. I give them my stamp of retailer of 2008, they are so helpful and thats why i came back for more and they also managed to talk some sense in to other retailers who had such big mark up's for CD's and DVDs it was unbelievable, these prices are affordable and realistic and the service is fan blloming tastic.
