Advantages: free delivery on everything - user friendly easy to navigate

Disadvantages: none i can think of - sorry

Play.com offers free delivery on EVERYTHING. No matter how big or small your order its delivered free which is great as when you only have a small order the delivery costs can outweigh the price you are paying. (I bought a new book for under £2) This is even better than Amazon where you have to spend £5 for free super saver delivery although that amount is easily achieved. I have also found the delivery to be prompt and have always recieved my goods within the time frame (usually 3 days) most products are dispatched within 24 hours.

Play.com sellls a variety of media products including books,games,dvds,music and tickets it also sells gadgets electronics and clothing alongside other products.

The prices seem to be competitive I always check prices between Amazon and Play and choose the cheapest sometimes its Play sometimes its Amazon. (I always buy through a cashback site so this also encourages me to use play as so far i havent found a cashback site that pays a commision for Amazon)

The site is easy to navigate and has tabs/links for all the categories for you to browse through or you can use the search box when looking for something in particular. When you search for a product it states the play price which is new and from play.com (and whether it is in stock) and the playtrade price which can be new or used and bought from a play trader through play.com (this is also delivered free). If you decide to buy the product through playtrade you can check the sellers reputation through their ratings before deciding to purchase. (I did have a problem through play trade once and I contacted the seller who immediately refunded the amount)

You create an account with play.com that holds all your info (delivery and payment details which makes it quicker to checkout. You can also check on your outstanding orders/order history, reviews etc and change your details here. It also has a section for playtraders where you can look at your listings/feedback and other account info.

You can pre-order items on play so that you get them as soon as they come out. They dont take payment until the order is processed and you can cancel at any time before the date its released. All this info can be easilly checked in my account.

There is also a 30 min cooling off period in which you can cancel the order before it is processed which is good when you may hastily buy products which is easily done online.

Overall a user friendly site which offers free delivery on everything with quick dispatch and good service.
