Advantages: Reliable, quick delivery, fast to resolve problems.

Disadvantages: Site navigation could be improved, i.e. sort by filters etc.

Since Play first came into being, it has grown considerably. Now selling almost everything but food, Play.com is one of the first places I go when looking to buy something online.

I've used them for a good few years now, ordering DVDs, CDs, posters, clothes and even PC components. After some 50 orders over the years, I can confidently say Play are the most consistently reliable online retailer I've used. Most of their ecclectic catalogue is very well priced and the fact that you get fast, free delivery on all items is a true bonus. Not having to worry about how much your order will increase by once shipping's been added to it is a relief.

Play's stock status has always proven reliable as I can't remember waiting more than 2 days for the email stating my item has been dispatched. One time I was sent the wrong size jacket and after advising them, they sent the correct one straight away asking me to return the incorrect one when I could. I was happy they did this rather than ask me to send it back first as most retailers would do. I'm sure they would have charged me for the original jacket if I hadn't sent it back after a few weeks but I appreciated the gesture seeing how it was their fault. Another thing worth mentioning is their no nonsense approach to when your item doesn't arrive. I've only has 1 DVD not arrive and a replacement was sent 3 days after notifying them of the missing DVD.

Summary: My favourite online store, Play have proven themselves with years of excellent service.
