I was first introduced to Play.com about 4 years ago. Until then most of my CD's and Games were bought on Ebay or in the Supermarket. This Jersey based company actually goes back a lot further than this though, all the way back to 1998.

I have been very impressed with Play.com over the few years I have used them and I would say that I have used them at least 100 times. As you can tell I buy a lot of items online!!

So what about the choice? Well I have always been very impressed with their large catalogue of CD and Games, as well as books and gadgets etc. They always have new gadgets added to their store and usually the prices are very competitive.

I always use quidco to get some cashback and it seems to track quite well. Shipping is free and they are usually 'fairly' quick in delivery. As a rule I tend to find my average time about 3 days or so. The website is also extremely easy to navigate.

One little gripe I've had in the past, usually around Christmas, is when the item is in shown as in stock, but when ordered it then shows as 'out of stock'. Upon challenging their Customer Services, I was told that if for example there was five items in stock and twenty people ordered at the same time, this would cause this to happen. So if you are after a popular item at Christmas beware.

All the items I have bought have worked and arrived in pristine condition, which is an chievement in itself bearing in mind all the stuff I have bought. They lose a star the my above comment, but otherwise come highly recommended..
