I ordered a new Bosch freezer from pluggedin.co.uk on Tuesday. The website was easy to navigate and use. Within one hour of placing my order, I received a phonecall to tell me that the freezer would be delivered today (Saturday) and that the delivery men would call between 8 and 10am. At about 8.05, the doorbell rang and two very friendly and helpful delivery men brought the freezer in and unwrapped it for me to inspect it. Very straightforward. Prompt, efficient, friendly. The website is not very well known but it is the online branch of Northern Electric, and so has the credibility of a big company behind it - very reassuring. Updates at the end. ------------------ I needed a new washing machine. I wanted to order it this week, and I would like to have it delivered by no later than the end of May, to my new home. So, where did I start looking? First stop, dooyoo ops on washing machines. Plenty to read, and a good balance of pros and cons. I made a checklist under each possible model, sorted by items including spin speed; how quiet/noisy was each machine, load size, customer service and warranties.
