Advantages: easy to use site, saves a trip to a store if it is not local

Disadvantages: stated delivery time is a bit long - though usually comes quicker

I adore Pumpkin Patch clothing for kids but find it a bit of a pain that I do not have one in my city and have to travel to either Birmingham or Leicester to have a mooch at the store - the distance is not the problem, but the car parking fees can be around £8 so I was very pleased when I discovered pumpkinpatch.co.uk. When I was last in store they took my email address and since then I have been doing most of my pumpkin patch shopping online.

I have now placed three orders with pumpkinpatch.co.uk, each time very successfully.

The website is very easy to navigate with sections for 'baby unisex', 'baby boy', 'baby girl', 'little boys', 'little girls', 'maternity' and 'Patch for kids (aged 5-11)'. It is easy to choose the item colour and age / size from a drop down menu and to click a button to add to your shopping basket.

Pumpkin Patch clothes, I find are fairly priced, at around £10 for a little boys shirt, £10 for a pair of little boys jeans - similar prices to Next. They do have some total tat but mostly lovely clothes for children. Their maternity clothes are a little overpriced in my opinion with a very limited selection, but still some nice pieces. They regularly have sales and I have picked up some real bargains over the past year.

Postage and Packinging is sadly £4.95 which I feel is a lot for a standard 7 day delivery service, I would expect a quicker turn around for the price. On two of the three occasions I have placed orders online I have received my parcel by the third day and on one of the three I received my goods on day 6, so it seems faster than they say and that they are just covering themselves.

On each occasion I have been extremely pleased with my goods, the sizes and colours have been spot on to my order.

I am more than happy with the service ofered by pampkinpatch.co.uk and for me the £4.95 P & P charge is worth it - it saves me a trip and car parking fees.
