Having recently decided to purchase a new widescreen TV i visited the usual high street shops looking at the various tv's and prices.

After choosing a rather nice pure flat philips 28' widescreen i visited a couple of comparison websites which flagged up QED as one of the cheapest options.

After a bit of investigation ie reading some dooyoo opinions i contacted QED by phone. A very pleasant sales person quoted me a very cheap cost, about £80 less than currys, comet etc with free delivery (about £20-30 in some other places). After been told that they had them in stock i decided to order one at 2.00pm on Tuesday. At 10am on Wednesday the TV was delivery, less than 24 hours later!

People always say that the true test for a company is when you have a complaint. On the Wednesday evening as we where setting up out new TV we noted that it was scratched.

The following day i made a call to QED explaining the situation. Being the sceptical kind I was expecting them to be less than helpful. Thankfully they where the opposite. I was informed that they would send me a replacement TV asap. They where as good as their word (although it did take a couple of days this time as they had none left in their warehouse).

We can now sit back and relax and enjoy our new tv.
