      Very helpful

      Would recommend

Racketys is a shop selling clothing for disabled adults and children. They have a full range of items including covers and capes for wheelchairs, clothing and vests that don't ride up, swimwear and bibs and covers. The information on their websites indicates that it is the brainchild of a fashion designer looking for a new role who worked with her local special needs school to create a range of items and it has since grown.

The shop has an online presence and a telephone sales line. The website is very easy to navigate with items grouped by type and split into adult and children. The pictures and description for each item are very clear. For example on the rain cover we purchased, the ties to attach it to the wheelchair had their own picture. Payment can be made using all the usual methods and they do not subscribe to any cash back websites I am aware of. They have regular sales some of which offer great bargains with items down to £3 and £5 in children's wear.

Delivery is not free and there is a standard and express option available. I have used only the standard option and have receive items quickly and well wrapped. I have had no need to return any items purchased but their website does state a 28 return policy for no reason and 3/6 months for faults.

Customer service is excellent. I have purchased both directly from the website and the telephone sales line. Transactions on the website are seamless and easy to use. Transactions on the telephone line are equally so. They also have the added advantage of some excellent individual advice. We were looking for something to keep my daughter warm while skiing on a bi-ski. The guy on the phone hadn't heard of them before but took the time to look it up and recommend a product which worked really well.

Price wise it's a hard one to call. All items related to disability seem to have a premium attached. That said, I do believe that the prices they charge are competitive for the market, for example the cozy toes we purchased cost around the same as a winter coat and I would expect to have similar wear from it.

Overall I would recommend this retailer as being easy to use, helpful and acceptable pricing.
