Advantages: Lovely shoes which look pretty.

Disadvantages: Some styles don't talk to me at all.

Redfoot Revolution sell glamorous flat shoes which fold in half, weigh nothing, but look smart enough to wear for a special evening out!

The first thing I have to say about this website and their shoes is that they have taken an idea and turned it into reality, and certainly for me they have been a great asset!

I have to confess I really don't get on with heels, though I love them. Nothing sets off an outfit like some glamorous shoes, but as I have wide feet, and have spent most of my life either nursing in flatties, kneeling on the floor with babies and toddlers, and in recent years walking the dog, there hasn't been many days when heels would be appropriate. I don't however like to give up on my tootsies and love shoes immensely.

This is where the website at www.redfootrevolution.co.uk comes into play because they make some very glamorous footwear. This collection are intended for going out in, and more especially to slip into your handbag and change during, or at the end of the evening, when your new heels are becoming more than just a friend, by donating you some very nasty blisters.
I can really identify with this feeling when you are going to a function and after a few hours of wearing smart clothes and high heels you would give anything to get home and change into some soft shoes and a casual ensemble!

I have another use for the items they sell which is for travelling as they make some very lightweight shoes which are perfect for popping into your hand luggage.

The shoes are reasonably priced and they have a good selection of styles, some are quite plain, more like driving shoes, but the ones which I like are jewelled and decorated and look pretty, feminine and party friendly. I have to say that there are a few styles on the website which are rather old fashioned like loafers, and I don't really see myself buying these, but the majority are really lovely.

I bought a black pair to start with in the style called Ada. These are very sophisticated and have a rosette decoration centred by a gemstone. I bought medium which is a 5 to 6 and they also have large 7 to 8 and small 3 to 4. Delivery costs were £3.95 and the shoes were £29.99. They arrived within a few days in a lovely pink box and they come with a small bag in which to keep them in their folded state.

The first thing I was pleased about was the width as they are similar in design to a ballet pump and so moulded to my foot shape perfectly. They were comfortable and exactly sized correctly. I am a 6 and this size was perfect.

I have worn these lot and they have worn beautifully with no problems at all and no rubbing or blisters either.

The shoes were so comfortable that I ordered another pair called Dita which are more gem stoned and these are equally good.

The company have been in the press a lot recently and this may account for the lack of availability of some sizes. This is especially true in the summer sandals range which is proving very popular.

The company accept all methods of payment and this is secure.

The shoes have been designed by foot experts and top podiatrists so they are intended to protect feet when worn, and offer more support than heels. They have, however, managed to produce them to look aesthetically beautiful and glamorous at the same time.
The fold in half design is unique and is possible by the way they have made the sole split into 2, and this facilitates its easy storage in a tiny bag.

I have absolutely loved these shoes; I have found their best use to be when travelling as it is possible to slip a pair into your hand luggage, and to pop them on when on planes. They are also lovely to wear in the house as well, and dress up jeans whilst remaining cosy and comfy at the same time. The dressier versions wouldn't look out of place at a night out at the theatre or a dance, and I would certainly wear them if I was going to a party as they also do a range of gold and silver.

My 17 year old son loves them and even made the comment that he thought they were really great, so certainly a complement here for the company! I think the choice of embellishments they use are sophisticated and make the shoes look expensive, and no one would know that in a moment they could be folded away and stored in the tiniest of handbags!

If you visit their website you can watch some video clips which actually show you the shoes and the way they fold in half which is interesting and helpful.

The company also sell gift vouchers which I think would make an excellent present for a friend because they would certainly enjoy these, and I know I am planning to treat my daughters to a pair of these before too long.
As the company are experts in the field they will also make shoes specially to order for weddings and special occasions, and details of these are available on the web site. These bespoke unique pieces start from £125, but could be just perfect to coordinate with something really special.

The website has a section called "Trends" which I really like as it shows their shoes in conjunction with accessories from top high street stores like River Island and Top Shop. This illustrates that these shoes are fashionable and that you are not buying something which is dated and part of a by gone era. Having said that there are some shoes which I have to say I wouldn't touch as I think they are dreadful, but the majority are really lovely.

I would certainly recommend these for times when you want to look lovely and to dress up your toes, but don't want to endure hours in high heels, or maybe for the times when you have done just that and you want to avoid the long hobble home.

Great shoes and top marks for innovation in my opinion!

Summary: Ideal for travel, glamour and comfort!

Great review. I can't wear heels anymore - although loved to when I was younger. I go more for conmfort added with a bit of eccentricity or elegance these days so this sounds straight up my street. Super work. Nomx
