I have recently been buying my fresh vegetables from a company called Riverford Organic Vegetables, not because they were organic but because they delivered them to my door, which was convenient for me. Riverford Farm is in Buckfastleigh in Devon, which is very close to Plymouth. All the produce sold in the boxes is Organic although not all is grown at Riverford as they do source from other Organic growers to find the best produce for their customers. I have now had around ten boxes from them and I find the quality of the produce very high I have never had any items that I have not enjoyed or been able to use. I have had an unusual item in one of my boxes which was a purple cauliflower, which although unusual it was very tasty. The boxes are priced according to the quantity of produce that is in the boxes. The prices start at £7:00 rising to £11:00 (in my local area) although these are set to rise by 50pence per box from the middle of February. The box contents range from 8 to 12 items for the veg boxes, the fruit and veg box contains 10 items which usually contains 4 different types of fruit and the Grocery box which has 5 different veg and milk, bread and eggs. You can also order “extra” items from a list of produce that is listed each week on the web site, this includes fruit, bread, wine, olive oil dairy products and books. All the boxes contain potatoes and a variety of veg that you may or may not have purchased or tried before such as Russian Kale, celeriac and fennel. Each box comes with an information card giving the box contents and atleast one recipe to use the contens on if you wish, there are also several recipe links on the website and further information about other products. This box scheme is currently available in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset, Hampshire, Bristol, Gloucestershire and parts of West London and Surrey. If you live in the South West or Bristol area you can see the farm in action on the BBC at 19:30hrs on BBC2 on Thursday 7
th February. Riverford have a web site which is Riverford .co.uk why not see if they deliver in your area.

Oh lots of good information, I may try this lot, if I can. Just to say that the lack of pargraphs made that quite hard to read.

What an unusual site. Is there anything you can't do online nowadays?

A good op but all squashed together like it is makes it hard to read and a bit off putting. Also a bit more detail about the condition the stuff arrives in, customer service etc would make it really useful. If you alter it, please let me know.
