I am the sort of person who enjoys tasty food, and plenty of variety, so although I live 5 minutes walk away from Tesco - I normally shop at either Marks and Spencer Food Hall or Sainsburys. Until now though Sainsburys was a bit too far for regular shopping, that is until I discovered sainsburystoyou.co.uk!

It is an absolute godsend! Now I can shop from the comfort of my living room, know exactly when it is going to get delivered, and collect Reward Card points too.

The choice of food is the most important reason why I would shop at Sainsburys, and they have an excellent variety of Carribean, Indian, Italian and British food! They havent added pictures yet of all the unusual products, but a quick search on google.com gets all the info on most dishes.

From what I can tell they sell everything online that you can get in store, unlike Tesco which only has the most popular items. Both charge £5 delivery though, which I think is a bit steep. Sainsburys do send two members of staff to deliver though and they carry the bags in for you so they do earn their money!

I think all supermarkets are overpriced in the UK, Sainsburys is one of the worst offenders, however the quality of their food is surpassed only by Marks and Spencer - who dont have online ordering yet.

I was invited to my local Sainsburys store to a focus group, which was very interesting. Me and about 6 other customers were asked about our opinions on the service, and we were promised improvements. We also were paid for attending!

They are going to be improving their website, making it faster loading and adding more product information, and adding more delivery options.

Now even though I have a car I am continuing to use sainsburystoyou.co.uk because I can order online while there is a quiet moment at work and save a lot of time in the week. Its excellent for time management!
