As a trader myself I should have known better than to deal with an Internet company without checking them out first but I slipped up and ordered a TV receiver for my PC. The product eventually arrived and was of very poor quality and was unable to pick up any signal from any station. (the aerial was tiny!) I sent the item back, recorded delivery and requested a refund. That was on 15th June and I was still was still waiting for a refund 3 emails, 2 phone calls and 28 days later. I called them again today and spoke again to Jim from Savapoint(very unhelpful). At first he said I couldnt have a refund as it had been 'tested by the technical department' and found to be fully working. I reminded him of my statuatory 'sale of goods act' rights and requested a full refund. After alot of rudeness from him, he eventually offered a partial refund as he said they had 'no choice' but to charge me a re-stocking fee. He couldnt tell me what that would be on the spot but suggested either £10 or £20 (the item had cost £29.99). He also said that he couldnt make any refund if I didnt give him my credit card details over the phone. You can imagine that i am not keen to do this). They dont issue cheques or make ANY outgoing calls. How helpful!!
I have declined this offer and asked for the name of the company owner or director to whom I can send a letter of complaint. He refused to supply me with the information (which I beleive is an illegal act). To sum up, THEY HAVE NO INTENTION OF ISSUING A REFUND AND HAVE KEPT MY GOODS. As a matter of principle, I will be persuing a claim through the small claims court and reporting them to the Trading Standards Agency. BE WARNED............

Summary: PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY, THEY GIVE INTERNET TRADERS A BAD NAME.

i got robbed too i ordered norton anti virus think it was 2005 but i got the older verison 2004 then i didnt recieve it at all so i rung up and compland then i got a person who was very rude an took mi at least 3 weeks till they finally decided to send me another but they wanted to claim it back from royal mail then i recieved it but it was very dodgie as it was only ment to be sold iwth a new pc an not as a single product thne it dint work a crashed my system so i had to reset all mi system to factory settings an reinstall everything then i was so pi**ed off i just left it then 3 months later i recieved a letter from the royal mail sayin about this missing product but it turns out they was claiming sumthing different wat i had ordered before which was twice the price so they tryed to con the rolay mail too!!!! very unhappy i wish i know how to get intouch with trading standards too. as i would also complain too message me dididave
