Advantages: Prices, good range of stock, Sales department reasonable
Disadvantages: Website can be problematic, What's "customer service"?!
I've used this company for computer components at three times in the last 12 months - I usually use Dabs or Scan, but in when I used them Savastore had stock of what I needed, or the price was notably lower, and some colleagues had good words to say for them.
First time, I bought a Viewsonic TFT monitor, and because it was a present paid extra for Express delivery after 6pm. Really disappointed when the product was more than a week later than the initial ETA, and they tried to deliver at 10pm. Took a day off work and when the delivery arrived was told by the courier that they always finish before 6pm - complained to Savastore and was ignored. (I got stuck pixels on this monitor - but they're easily ignored, and I figured I'd get no help from Savastore)
Second time, there was a problem with the website which meant I had to contact Sales - who promptly told me that I needed Customer Support, who were supposed to be available up until 5pm, but had put the phones onto "we've gone for the day" at 4.45. When I eventually did manage to get CS, (very, very long wait on the phone), I did finally manage to get my problem sorted (after a lot of hassle!), and then they managed to miss the delivery ETA by a whole day!
Last time I used them, it was just a component buy and it went okay.
In summary, prices good, website okay. Sales Dept try to be efficient. Customer service 3/10. Delivery estimates 0/10.
Maybe I've just been unlucky, but I'd really not recommend this eShop except for fairly routine, non-urgent stuff. And I've had subsequent problems with the website, bad links mainly.
Summary: Sava some hassle and go elsewhere unless it's not urgent.
