Advantages: Really easy to navigate site - fantastic choice.

Disadvantages: Sometimes too much choice!

Have recently had cause to look for a new radiator for my kitchen. When my plumber offered to buy this for me I asked him where he was likely to go for it and he - reluctantly - told me Screwfix.

As I had used this site in the past I was quite confident to say that I would order it myself. Logged onto the site and did a search for radiators - HUGE number of results!

Narrowed it down to the selection I wanted and placed my order - no mess, no fuss, just a simple screen. Also neeeded some valves and these were just as simple to find.

The whole site is really easy to navigate, even if you are more enthusiatic DIYer than professional. There are clear pictures and descriptions of the items which make it super easy to choose. My order was placed on Sunday and delivery was scheduled for the next day. This was the recent Bank Holiday so it didn't come until the Tuesday however there was no problems and it came early in the day via a FedEX courier.

The packaging is secure and no marks are on the item - which is the sometimes the case from other suppliers and overall the price was fantastic and comparable to major DIY stores - even when they have 15% off!

Summary: Excellent for trades and enthusiatic DIYers.
