UTTER RUBBISH!!
Order some specs from them after having them recommended by Martin Lewis money saving expert (how ironic!) First attempt, they didn't arrive, second attempt, they didn't arrive!! They sent a tracking number which said they had been delivered to an uknown address...funny how I have everything else delivered to my home address and it arrives! Sent many many many emails back and forth and they copied and pasted the same response into all of them and then refused me a refund.

Took my money before the item had even been dispatched....would NEVER buy from them again and would NEVER recommedn anyone else to do so,

I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone, I purchased a pair of prescription glasses (they said it would take 7-10 days) I waited for a month - they arrived from Hong Kong, I tried them on and they were just ridiculous....They got my prescription all wrong, the lenses were like milk bottles, and the frames were so cheap and flimsy. I contacted them and they said they made them to my prescription saying maybe I didnt fill it out correctly. I DID fill it out correctly because I tripple checked it before I sent off the order, they take your money - screw up your order - take over a month to dispatch - then blame it on you. Such a shocking company, Im surpriesed their still going.

After a 20 minute furore looking for my glasses after showering one morning (they were sitting by the bed...doh!) I resolved to get a spare pair asap. Never again. Do yourself a favour and don't even consider this company. I ordered one month ago and they just ordered the frames and glasses themselves. What have they been doing for the past 4 weeks? Now the best I can hope for is that they are late. From reading other reviews I am now worried that I may not receive them or that they will not be what I ordered. Run, don't walk from these guys.

Ordered glasses 5.1.09 from Select specs what a nightmare rang the royal mail on 23.1.09 gave the tracker no. only to be told they had been to tyne side and had been sent back to hong kong. Now been 5 weeks and still no glasses, no email contact of any help has been sent I'm begining to get the feeling I'm going to be taken for a mug . What a way to run a company .

i have ordered 2 pairs of glasses from selectspecs and they are absolutely amazing. so cheap and everywhere i go i get so many compliments. i live in canada and they were shipped from the uk in a reasonable amount of time. (of course it does take quite a bit longer than regular national shipping time) ive had a wonderful experience with select specs and recommend it to everyone who asks about my glasses. i plan on purchasing another pair through them again in the future. select specs rocks!

From the moment I placed my order to now, I have had nothing but trouble. I've just received my second pair of varifocal specs from Selectspecs and they are perfect. The first pair were clear and the second tinted. At the price (<£50 per pair) they were worth waiting for. Alan.
