Advantages: easy to use, fast, reliable service, good variety of cards to chose from

Disadvantages: site can be a little slow, people may prefer cards to be written by sender

I cannot believe what I did...
I forgot to go out and buy a mothers day card and when I realised I had forgot it was 4pm Thursday afternoon and I am stuck in the house as I am waiting for a repairman to come and fix my washing machine.

What a dilemma.

Do I risk popping out to go and buy a card (well to cards in fact, one for my mum one for mother in law) but in doing this I may miss the repair man then have to wait weeks for another one to come or do I risk waiting till tomorrow then the card may not get there till after Sunday. (Well you never know with the post do you)

Then it comes to me like a bright light of revelation; send one from the Internet...

But I have never bought anything over the net before, where do I start.

Goggle, here we come.

Type in "cards to send" and I get lots of places to go to.

I spot sharp cards, like the sound of that.

Hit the site and register, choose a card and then apply my personel words and send to basket do this again and hey presto the cards will be delivered 1st class post.

I can not believe how easy it is and you can even chose gifts as well, the gifts are not that extensive but there are print's, pop up vases, pens, confetti to go in the cards (I like that idea) and other like wise gifts.

You can also set a reminder for birthday's and special occasions (which I did there and then)

You also have a chose where to send the cards, straight to the person (all cards will be hand written or to you for you to write.

Due to the lack of time I chose to have the cards hand written and sent straight to mum and mum in law.

Both cards were recieved by mum and mum in law the very next day.

This site really did save my skin and I will defiantly be using this site again and again, in fact already organised 3 other people's birthday cards and presents through it.

The cards cost from
£1.50, you can pay via credit cards and switch.

Cost of postage is included in the cost shown so there are no hidden extra's

When you register you can also recommand a friend and when they register you both recieve a free card each. (You can recieve a maximum of 10 free cards)

What a good idea. You need to know that the recipient won't mind it not being in your handwriting though,

Sounds a good service in an emergency but don't like the thought of someone else hand writing a card on my behalf - Kay
