Terrible customer service,lies about order (Slapiton.tv)

Having never previously used this company, I ordered two products as part of a birthday present on the 15th July.
I was hopeful that they would arrive by the 23rd July however by the 22nd there was no sign. I sent them two emails that day and received no reply.
On the 23rd I called them to check the progress of my order. Upon quoting the order number the woman on the phone noted that two emails had been sent by myself but failed to explain why they had been ignored.
She explained to me that the items I had ordered were out of stock however there was nothing on the website at the time of purchase to tell me this or else I would have got the gifts elsewhere.
She then proceeded to tell me that the order would be with me within 3 days.
I hung up feeling less than satisfied as I did not have all the planned gifts for my boyfriend's birthday however at least it would only be a few days late...
WRONG! Three days later and still no sign. Being busy and working unsociable hours meant that I was unable to contact Slapiton until today (04/08/08), nearly three weeks after my initial order.
After attempting six times to actually get through I finally managed to speak to someone who said that my order had not been dispatched as the items were still out of stock and that it would be a further two weeks before I would receive the products, despite me originally being told that my items would be with me shortly. I cancelled the order there and then. The person on the phone didn't even offer an apology for the distinct lack of customer service.
Don't ever use this company! I certainly won't be reccomending this shoddy lot to anyone...
It would be getting a minus rating if this were possible.
