AWFUL - late to post, no response to communication (Slapiton.tv)

Disadvantages: They debit your card immediately for items they don't seem to have

I placed my order on 8th December for my Mum's Christmas present. They debited my card immediately but nothing arrived. I called them on 21st December and they said it was being sent that day. It arrived the next day, broken (it was a candle in a glass container and had not been packaged well).

I couldn't get through on the phone so emailed immediately with all my order details, asking if they could please get me a replacement before Christmas. The response I got said only 'which candle was it', I sent through all the information again immediately but received no response. I emailed again on the 22nd and called several times that day and also 5 or 6 times on the 23rd. There was never any answer (just an answerphone with no option to leave a message).

So my Mum didn't get her Christmas present and I still haven't been able to get any response from Slapiton. I'm going to try to claim the money back through my credit card. I bought almost all my Christmas presents online and this was the only bad experience, but I suggest you avoid them, as they don't seem to have any concept of customer service.
