I found this website while looking for cheap online glasses through Google. I had had an eye test a week or so before and was given my prescription on a small card but the glasses in the opticians were expensive and as I only need glasses for reading and looking at screens I felt it would be silly wasting tens or hundreds of pounds on something I would only wear occasionally. A good friend of mine, a fellow bargain hunter, told me about ordering prescription glasses online and a voucher she had found for buy one get one free from a similar website. During my search I found this voucher was no longer valid therefore I searched for the best and cheapest option.

When you have an eye test you are under no obligation to purchase glasses from that store, but the optician is obliged to give you a copy of your prescription before you leave.
You are then able to use this to order glasses through this website, and they suggest you use a prescription less than 2 years old to make sure you are using the right strength for you.

I found this website to be very easy to use and the product is exactly 'what it says on the tin'. I chose simple frames (sbp198-Ladies Glasses-Metal-Sprung Hinged Side) at a bargain price of £12! Including postage my order in all came to £15.70 - a snip compared to the prices you can pay on the high street.

The frames are clearly categorised by price, gender and lens options and all you need to do is find the frames suitable for you, click on them, click on 'Place Order', choose the colour (if the option is available) and lens type, and fill in your prescription as it is on the card given by your optician. All that is needed from there is choose your preferred postage method and pay.

I received my new glasses around 6 working days after I placed my order and was extremely pleased with the product. They came in a hard glasses case with the website/contact information printed on the top, a very sturdy case it is with a sprung button clasp, and included a polishing cloth inside. The glasses themselves are great, nothing spectacular but for £12 they are more than adequate. The lenses are perfect and I find them easy to use and help with my headaches.

I will be ordering more from this website, at these prices I can afford to have spare pairs and various colours!
