Advantages: Debt free, No need to give credit card details, Able to buy online

Disadvantages: Only limited amount of websites accept it

I think that splashplastic is a great idea, especially for younger people who do not have a credit card because they are too young or because they do not want to risk using their credit card online. Splashplastic is a card that you put money in by topping it up from various shops including The Carphone Warehouse. You can set up standing orders which transfers money from your account to your splashplastic card which will mean you wont even have to go and top the card up yourself. The card can then be used to buy goods online. It is free to join up, and you pay for nothing except the goods you buy. You can buy CDs, books and other goods online, using the card, and without giving your credit card details away, which makes it a safer alternative. There is a vast amount of web sites, which allow you to use splashplastic with more and more web sites signing up for it. You can only spend the amount of money you have on the card so there is no possibility that you can go into debt using a splashplastic card.

Oh welcome to the site, that was a good first review, although a bitmore detail would have helped. Take a peek at the advice to new members and at some of the premier reviews, both found on the community page and have fun round here.

I guess you still have to be careful that your standing order is within your budget?

Hi - welcome to dooyoo! This is not a bad start but I would suggest that you take a look around some other opinions - particularly the premier opinions to see how they are structured.

In particular I would suggest that you set the op out a little more clearly - space it a little better, expand on your points a bit. All the best!
