A family member recommended this website to me because I wear quite a lot of sports and outdoor clothing. She told me that the site offered some amazing prices and deals as well as a huge range of items for men, women and children. I have ordered from the site a few times and have been very happy with my purchases and the prices I managed to get the items for.
Sports Direct actually sell more than just sports gear. They have a great deal of brand name fashion wear items which are reduced from their recommended retail price as well as a great selection of clothing for specific sporting activities such as tennis, athletics, football, swimming and much more. They also have a few other things such as personal accessories, pet items and random items like headphones and phone covers etc. They also sell official Football jerseys. Against every item you can see the actual reduction in price along with item details such as what the material is and sizing information.
The clothing items online tend to be available in whatever sizes are left in the stock so it's often best to use the search facility to narrow the results down to your size. I have purchased a few tops and walking boots from the site. I'm very pleased to have been able to find brands that are high quality but are available at an affordable price.
The delivery costs £3.99 for each order which I feel is a bit much. It can be worth ordering a few items to ensure that the reductions on the items aren't cancelled out by having to pay the postage charge!
I've received a good service from the company when using the online site. It's easy to register and to check out and my orders were sent very quickly and arrived in the time stated. I'm also happy with the quality of the items. I was afraid these might be 'seconds' or rejects that had some kind of quality fail but my items have all been perfect!
I would recommend this site to anyone who is looking for a bargain and I especially think the site is great for those with a family as you can shop for everyone in the household. They are a great site to visit if you are looking for a particular item that you are finding to be expensive at other stores. I will definitely shop at this website again in the future.
Poor Poor service from SPORTSDIRECT. DO NOT SHOP HERE I REPEAT DO NOT SHOP HERE I recently bought my son a tracksuit which turned out to be faulty (the top half). They gladly refunded the top but said as nothing wrong with bottoms they WOULD NOT REFUND IT. For christs sake refund on HALF A TRACKSUIT!!!. Their excuse we sell the items seperate. If you CHOOSE to wear them together to make a set thats up to you. We dont sell it complete. Despite pleading with the store manager at CRAYFORD and asking him to show godwill he refused to budge an inch saying and I quote'' WE DONT DO GOODWILL''. Nothing other than shocking service. Also you waste your time contacting customer service (or customer no services) as they couldnt care either and dont waste time emailing senior management Dave.email@example.com or Mike.firstname.lastname@example.org because they WONT RESPOND. Once they have your money thats it they truly do NOT CARE about the customers at all. I personally will no longer shop there and would advise EVERYONE TO AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAUGE. I have had this before when I end up taking faulty goods back to them and do they care that you have had time, effort, trouble and expense returning the goods??????? It was rather surprising for me, but I realised that shopping online at Sports Direct has been a more pleasant experience compared to shopping at their store. I have to say that I quite enjoyed online shopping there.
First of all, the online store has EVEN MORE products than their shop. They have literally thousands of sporting goods for men and women, young and old, to cover you up from head to toe. And what''s more tempting is, almost all of them are on sale. And some of them are pretty fashionable to wear.
Second of all, shopping online there means I wouldn''t have to deal with the cluttered products and crowds of people. It is so much easier browsing for what you need online than on their shop. The product description was pretty accurate, and I think they have a pretty good return policy, so you wouldn''t have to worry too much about shopping there.
I bought two trousers, and two skirts from their website. It was delivered and arrived pretty quickly -- about 3-4 working days. I was a little bit surprised when the package came in a box, and was a little bit heavy because I knew I was not shopping too much.
Apparently they gave me a free mug for my purchase. A pretty big and useful mug too, although it looks tacky with a huge "Sports Direct" printing all over it.
They received paypal, credit card and amazon. I am not sure how it worked but I just used my amazon.co.uk account to pay my purchase, and it charged me through my amazon account.
Overall, I like shopping here, and I might go back to their online shop :)
I use sports direct to buy all of my sports clothes, shoes and equipment! They have it all. I much prefer to shop online as going in store is a bit of a nightmare as they are always busy. The website is neatly layed out and easy to navigate through.
Everything is cheap on the website, they have very good deals and are by far the cheapest sports shop I have come across! The website always has good deals on and good bargains to be found.
I have had good experiences with them in the past, making 7 orders so far. On average they take 5 working days to arrive when you pay for standard delivery which costs 3.99. One order I placed took over a week to arrive. I have found that they are not the quickest deliveries.
All orders have been of excellent quality and everything has arrived the way it should. Packaged well and Protected during transport. They offer all of the top brands at cheaper prices to places such as JD sports.
Would I recommend?:
I would recommend this company if you are in need of new sports gear or accessories, they are easy to find on the website with a very good price for many of the products that they offer. Orders do take some time to arrive, but if you don''t mind waiting then I would recommend this website for you! It''s also great for kids clothes and sports gear. Customer services are very prompt to reply to any queries which is always a bonus, one query I had via email took only 2 hours for a reply.

I guess that Sports Direct may come across as abit of a cheapy store, kind of like Primark. Everything appears to be cheap.
Enter a store (which is in most towns nowadays) and the just seem to have a sale on. The price tag will show the RRP price and then their price. Its one of those things where you wonder if they ever sold the product at the RRP, or is it just a marketing tool to think your getting a discount. Either way, it entices you in.
Nearly all the brands that are for sale in these stores, are owned by Sports Direct. Remember Kangool, Slazenger, Dunlop and Everlast? Well they are now owned by Sports Direct, hence why they offer you very good prices on stock.
So how about online? Well the stock is massive, far greater than any store. They have over 1000+ types of tshirts to choose from. Some stock level can sell out quickly in popular items and sizes, but generally most items are available. Postage is always a talking matter when buying online. Unfortunately its not free, and if you are not happy with the item, its not free to return. So here are the delivery options: Free delivery over 100UKP, standard delivery is 3.99UKP, next day delivery is 5.99UKP and delivery on Saturday is 6.99UKP.
Sports Direct sounds like it just sells football shirts, jogging bottoms etc. But it also sells casual clothing aswell, like socks, normal looking t-shirts, chinos etc.
A few bits of information on the company. Its first store opened in 1982. It has a share in JD Sports, and bought out JJB Sports. 2000 staff members were given 70,000ukp as part of a company bonus scheme. They now have 470 stores and these can be found in Ireland, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Portugal.
Only problem I have is that their Kangool sizes are slightly different. I need to get one size up from my normal size.
I stock up on alot of holiday gear. T-shirts, chinos, shorts, flip flops etc.
Sports Direct is a company which has a chain of stores selling sports equipment and clothing as well as casual clothing. From the name of the store you would assume it is just a sports shop but they have excellent value clothing for all ages, sizes and styles.
They have stores in most UK cities, but I find visiting their stores stressful and choose to shop online instead.
Products sold include bikes, golf clubs, football boots, shirts, jeans, dresses, shoes, darts and equipment and much more!
The website looks a bit tacky but is fairly easy to use although it does have a few issues which I will go into later. You can click one of the buttons to quickly be taken to the department you are looking for such as mens, kids or clearance sections and refine your search by brand, size, colour and product. It's all quick and easy to use.
You do not have to be a member to visit their site and view the products, but I would recommend signing up which is as simple as entering your email address and password as they do send newsletters regularly letting you know about their deals which is good as some promotions may only last a day.
One such newsletter was sent to me via email yesterday which was advertising up to 90% off "Miso" dresses. Clicking the email link took me to pages of dresses of all styles including some pretty and colourful skater dresses all for under £6. They had dresses suitable for day wear or occasion wear and for that price you just can't go wrong.
I recently bought some gorgeous "Firetrap" jeans with an RRP of over £70 for only around the £6 mark.
The prices are hard to beat and your money does go far shopping on this site which is why I continue to do so. There are a few issues though, some items are in the wrong category, a search for womens tracksuits in a size 8 could include infant pyjamas in the results. This has happened on many searches and can be a little annoying.
They could really do with a seperate kids and infants department too as they are together and you need to do quite a bit of searching for baby items, although they do have some lovely stuff (if you can find it).
Some items such as trainers show a 'from' price, so searching for mens trainers recently which showed up as from £29 was actually £45 in the size required so keep an eye out for prices changing when you select your size.
When you find an item you like, you simply select your required size and colour and click on the add to bag button where it will be saved until later. Your bag will always be shown on the top right hand corner of the page where you can keep an eye on the number of items added and a running total which is handy as it's easy to get carried away with so many bargains.
When you have finished shopping you can proceed to the checkout where you can view all the items, it's definitely worth double checking all of your sizes before ordering, I have never had to return an item but have heard from a family member that it's not a very easy process.
Also check that they haven't added one of their mugs for £1 which they seem to do automatically, so if you don't want this then make sure you remove it before entering your payment details.
The payment page is quick and simple to use and they accept most debit and credit cards. I find the authorisation quick and have never experiences problems.
Delivery times vary and can be a bit of a pain. Sometimes it has been a couple of days before I get any kind of communication regarding my order and although they eventually send a link to track your order it usually says processing for days anyway! Delivery is normally free over £50 but this amount sometimes changes. When packages have arrived the goods are always well packages and protected and clothing has never been too creased or damaged at all. Overall I'm fairly happy with the delivery service but I doubt I'd order something I needed in a real hurry using this website.
On my latest order I was told in an email that 2 of my items were out of stock, this was particularly annoying as they are gifts and now if I want to go back and order similar products I will have to pay postage as they would be less than the minimum spend. Quite annoying as the original order was over £250.
An item added to the basket showed up as out of stock and I was told to remove the item before checkout. If it was out of stock I can't understand why they allowed me to add it to the basket in the first place?
The products in wrong categories, slow confirmation of orders and communication of products not available, order tracking not being too good and of course the owner Mike Ashley (BOOOOOOO) put me off using this company, they have deals which can't be missed, have good products and great prices so it's too good not to keep using really.
I will continue to use this site and cross my fingers that another company follows in their footsteps bringing bargain deals and I can use them instead. To finish here are a few tips when using the site.
- As if the prices are not competitive enough, you can sometimes find voucher codes to use. '10OFF50MVC' gets you 10% off orders over £50 at the moment.
- Check your sizes and the product description carefully before ordering. I nearly ordered a cheap tracksuit for my boyfriend until I realised the description said juniors. Which of course should be in the kids, not mens section, but that's sports direct.
- Sign up as a member, you will get emails with their latest deals

They have clothing starting at only £2!!. The postage is £3.99 and over a certain amount ( normally £50) its free delivery.
They have not just sportclothing but also a small amount of normal clothes and all kinds of sports accesoires. They have so many different catergories like swimming, kickboxing, running, tennis etc. You can buy everything you need.
Because I kickbox I wanted the gloves, pads, bag etc. I got it all at sportsdirect for £39.99. ( gloves, bag, pads, hook to hang the bag up Lonsdale brand)
They have all the good brands like: Lonsdale, crosshatch, nike, adidas and so much more cheaper than other stores.
Whenever i order items I always get an email with a trackingnumber so that i can track my parcel. The deliveryman always calls me 10 min before he comes to my house to let me know he is coming.
I had to return a pair of trainers before because of the size and the only negative thing about it that you have to pay the postage to send it back but other than that I can say that I am a satisfied customer who will keep buying from sportdirect.com
I bought some Leki walking poles back in March via Ebay. One had obviously been used before, one section was scratched and the handle was scuffed.Reported this to customer service who replied with a stock email telling me to send it back at my cost. When I complained further they eventually provided a freepost address but this could not be used as the pole is longer than the maximum for that service. On 26 March they agreed to collect and replace. I had to phone them on a 0845 number to arrange a date. I have never managed to get through by phone to speak to anyone.I have emailed them several times and raised a dispute through Ebay but am getting absolutely nowhere.Does anyone have a telephone number that works? Not 0870. Or a number or email for their head office?
The sports direct website is an excellent one-stop-shop for pretty much everything to do with sport. One thing I've noticed is that they do have a lot more clothing items and a wider variety of equipment than they do in their stores. Some of the stores aren't big enough to accommodate all the stock so they just put it on the website, and get it delivered to your door.
The site is easy to navigate and simple to use. There isn't too much flash, but it does have annoying rollovers when you hover over the pictures, which stay static once you've rolled over. If it went back and forth i wouldn't mind so much, but you need to move mouse off pretty quick to stop it changing picture.
Placing an order on the site is simple and straight forward, you select quantity on the item page as is the same with colour and size, then just add the items to your "bag" then checkout through the secure pages. You will be asked to log in but creating an account takes a couple minutes. They don't ask you for too much personal information but obviously they need your address on file so you don't have to enter it every time you pay. It can also store your card details.
They have a helpful FAQ on the website which covers all the basics about shopping and paying for your items, but if you get stuck you can use the Contact Us feature. This is annoyingly hidden at the bottom of the page in small print. The only way that I can seem to contact them quickly is by email. I've given up getting to a phone number.
There is an order history and order tracking feature on the site which updates regularly and tells you when to expect your delivery, when it was dispatched etc. This isn't pin point accurate and it just tells you if it's left the depot or out for delivery etc rather than pin point locations.
Overall these guys have a good website don't get me wrong but their contact us page has so many sub pages and the fact that I can't even find a phone number tells me they don't want to speak to me directly. I will award 4 stars, knocking off a star for the ease of use of the site, except for ordering, which is probably the easiest thing you can do on the site once you've signed up, because you don't have to re enter information.
Ordered PE kit for my daughter last week. Used paypal as i had heard what SD were like at refunding. Logged onto paypal account a couple of days later for another reason only to find SD had cancelled my order. I have had no email or phone call telling me they have cancelled the order.
I tried phoning them only to be cut off twice when i tried explaining, thats after it took me half an hour to actually find a phone number for them, I tried three stores but not one of them answered the phone.
So I emailed them and got a bob standard response " The majority of stores bla bla bla"
So its now a week later I still have not heard why they cancelled the order, or why they dont feel the need to let customers know why they are cancelling the orders.
More to the fact its now a week and they are still holding my money, my money on an order that they cancelled not me.

I've bought a number of items recently from Sports Direct.com, and I must say that the quality of some of their products is poor, and their customer service is even worse.
I purchased a number of items of clothes on line. To be fair, delivery was pretty fast - they arrived just a few days later. However, a couple of my items were of very poor quality. Ok, they were fairly cheap, but when I examined them in detail, it was clear that I couldn't wear these in public.
A tshirt looked as if it was simply cut out of the cloth, and not finished off. There were no seams on the sleeves, the neck, or around the waist. In fact, it was simply a piece of cloth, in the vague shape of a t-shirt.
I also ordered a pair of shorts, but found that on the inside of each leg, part of the material had been torn away. Now, to return damaged products is a chore, you have to pay the Post & Packing yourself (its in the terms & conditions I'm afraid).
Despite this setback, I'd also seen a very nice ladies hooded top that I wanted to buy as a birthday present.
I ordered it on line, it arrived quickly - but they'd shipped the wrong size (childrens large rather than adult large). So I called their customer services number. That's resulted in around 45 minutes hanging to to speak to someone. When I finally got through, the lady was very apologetic, and assured me that they did have the right size in stock, so I ordered a replacement.
And guess what - it arrived, and again they'd shipped a children's size. So, back to the customer services, where again it was more than 30 minutes waiting on hold. The lady said she'd investigate further and let me know why the second shipment was also wrong.
Now, I did state clearly that this was urgent - the birthday was just 2 days away.
However, I received no response. So I had to write numerous emails, and finally received an answer that the products in the warehouse were incorrectly labelled, and they in fact did NOT have the product in adult size.
So they failed completely to meet by requirements as a customer; plus they provided inaccurate information, and failed to act with urgency to resolve by problem. I was so frustrated, I asked for the details of the Customer Service Management. As yet, they have not responded to my complaint.
So, lessons learned for me. The products are fairly cheap, and I've received some that are perfectly fine. However, the ratio between good and damaged/incorrect products that I've received is not good, so I will not be using this company again in the future.
As it was coming up to a new year i decided to have a clear out. Having been so long in buying myself any new clothes I decided to through them all out so I would have no choice but to order new ones. So one afternoon i sat down with my computer and started looking at sportsdirect.com I would of gone into the store but having two small children I thought this would be a better idea.
Knowen for being cheap with their clothes i started browsing and found myself quite a few bargins. I must of spent around £300 - £350 on clothes and a pair of trainers. After about 8 days the items arrived, looking at this huge box of all my clothes I couldnt wait to try them on. So there I was wripping the box appart, eyeing up my items. Trying them on I was rather pleased with myself that id got so much for my money. Then came the best bit... the trainers all women are pretty much daft of shoes arent they? So I opened the box of my new NIKE trainers, tried them on and walked around the house for a few moments to see if they were comfortable enough. Thinking they are fine I went to put them back in the box & realized that both trainers were two completely different colours. One was bright white my guess is the one thats always kept in the box and the other one was dirty also a little yellow againg my guess is ex display. This was not stated online when I choose them, so i rather surprised that they came in this state doesnt anyone check the items beofre they are sent? Guess not. I picked up the invoice and searched for the number of customer services to give them a call but I couldnt find it anywhere, slightly confused I decided to look online for the number to call them but all I could find was writing saying not to take items back to the stores as they will not be accepted. So I decided to search for another 10 minutes and finally found that I could email them so I wrote my complaint to them and within two days they replied. They said that I had 7 days to return the item after recieving it but I would be charged for sending it back they would not pay it for me. Rather strange seeing that there was a fault?? Not happy I packaged the item up and took it to the post office to be sent back. It been over three weeks now & they claim to of refunded the money owed to me to my card but from what I can see this is no where to be seen.
Since my items have been ordered I have most of my items fall appart after contacting them again and them telling me the same process I decided to go to watch dog about the matter. I would seriously recommend that no one orders from the website againg. If you are wanting cheap clothes, trainers, shoes, training items then I suggest you go into the store but please bare in mind that if an item doesnt suit you after buying they only offer a credit note.

I have shopped at Sports Direct before both online and instore and so I was aware that the store has alot to offer for all sporting tastes. The reason I was prompted to undertake a review for the company today - sportsdirect.com - was due to an amazing recent experience.
SO GO ON THEN WHY DID YOU GO TO SPORTSDIRECT.COM?
Well my husband gets emails from them from time to time and the one he received recently was to alert him of a current 'crazy' sale. Well you know you get emails like that often don't you and when you go to look you soon come away because the prices are not reduced significantly or the offerings are very few. This was not the case on this occasion! We got some superb buys. Mainly from the footwear department which offered a good variety of choice at some really great prices. For example - I know you want to know - I got a pair of Head running shoes that were £6.00! RRP £49.99! I know isn't that a great price! Of course you do need to bear in mind the £3.99 post and packaging but if you are ordering a few items and saving so much it is not so bad and the delivery is spot on by DHL.
OK THEN YOU HAVE MY ATTENTION WHAT KIND OF STUFF DO THEY HAVE?
At the moment there is, for example, an Addidas football at £3 reduced from £9.99! There is a bike that is less than half price and lots of footwear deals including Asics, New Balance and Head. There are sports clothes galore for children, women and men. There is walking gear at great prices by Craghoppers, Berghaus and Low Alpine! Running stuff for both sexes, football, golf, tennis - so much choice!

OK SO WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF THE ITEMS LIKE?
Well the items that we ordered where all genuine and in pristine condition as you would expect when buying something brand new. The footwear came boxed like you would get from the store and the clothing was very well packaged as you would recieve it from a quality mail order company. So the quality is just as you would expect it to be and the same as you would get from a shop.
WHAT IS THE ONLINE ORDERING EXPERIENCE LIKE?
I found the website very easy to navigate the only issue is that there is so much choice and so much on sale at this time. This store is pretty competitive in the first place but some prices at the moment are greatly reduced. The sections are clearly labelled at the top and include Football, Clothing and footwear and if you click on one of these it is straightforward to browse and prices are clearly displayed. I particularly like the fact that available sizes are displayed under each item or you can click on a specific size from the left hand side menu which also offers options of gender and brand as well as colour! You can easily customize you search if you don't want to browse. There is a help section at the top which is self explanatory as you go through it and the basket is situated at the top and is easy to see what is in your order so far.
Just a tip - if you see something, especially in the sale, that you really want then don't leave it too long before you process your order and payment as if someone else adds the last one to their basket and pays before you then you won't get it - that did happen on our order we only discovered this when the order arrived and it wasn't in the package. The invoice didn't include it and payment wasn't taken for it. The same thing has happened to me on mandmdirect.co.uk too - useful to know.
SO WHAT ABOUT PAYMENT?
The payment process was very straightforward and you also register at the same time so that you can view your account at any time, this is a good feature when you want to check an order. Payments methods are VISA MASTERCARD SOLO MAESTRO AMERICAN EXPRESS and the website is secured by Mastercard which asked for a password on completion of payment.

I would give this company a big thumbs up no problem. The variety of gear on offer and massive selection of choices is pretty impressive and at times of sales the prices are greatly reduced which is appreciated and can save you lots of pennies! The service is A1 in my opinion from browsing to placing the order on to delivery which was speedy and friendly by DHL and then the packaging which was high quality recycled and fully protected the order. All items were genuine and immaculate. I am really pleased and very impressed with sportsdirect.com and would have no hesitation in recommending them to others - hope you bag a bargain too!

As I my brother will be 21 on the day of England's first World Cup match this year, I decided that an England shirt with his nickname and 21 on the back would be a good present for his birthday.
He is currently serving in the Royal Navy and his ship would be away at sea on the day of his birthday so I knew I would have to sort things out in plenty of time to ensure that it got there in time.
My first port of call was a Sports Direct store but they had run out of number 1s so I thought I would try their website. When I first visited the site I found it easy to find the England shirts and there were plenty of options regarding sizes, separated into infant, junior and adult. There were also options with player's names and numbers on the back if you wanted one of those.
I clicked on the adult shirt and selected the size needed from a drop down list, personalising the shirt was also an easy task. There are boxes for you type in your required name and numbers, after double checking I had typed everything in correctly (as they won't refund personalised items) I proceeded to the check out.
I had to create an account in order to continue which was simple enough, and then choose the delivery option. The choices were standard at £3.99 or express for £5.99. As standard was quoted as taking 3-5 days I opted for this. I then paid for my order and was taken to an order confirmation page; this said I would receive an email of my confirmation.
I actually didn't receive an email order confirmation but I had printed a copy so I didn't worry too much.
My order arrived with me the next working day so although I had only paid for standard delivery it still arrived really quickly. I was really happy with the speed and efficiency of the delivery. The parcel was quite a lot larger and heavier than I was expecting for a football shirt, when I opened it I had been sent a free Sports Direct mug and a St George's Cross with Sports Direct written across it.
I then took the shirt out of the packaging and upon checking the back for the printing immediately saw that they had printed a number 12 rather than a 21. The first thing I did was check my order confirmation to make sure I had put the correct one on my order, the confirmation definitely said 21 and so did the invoice which was in the parcel.
As it was after 7pm I sent the customer services an email explaining what had happened but I got an automated response saying that it would be dealt with within five days.
I couldn't afford to wait that long as it would mean the present might be too late in getting to my brother. I looked on their website for a contact number so that I could phone them first thing the next day, I had no joy. So I spent a good thirty minutes or so googling for a contact number. I eventually found several but most of these didn't actually work, when one that I tried did work I was overjoyed to find that "my call was important to them and I was number 6 in a queue".
After forty minutes I eventually got to speak to a real person (I'm now pleased I was at work that day and this wasn't on my telephone bill), when I explained what had happened the customer services advisor she said that I could return the shirt and they would send out a replacement. This would have been fine but they could not guarantee it would get to me in time.
She then said that I could buy a new shirt in store, when I explained that the reason I ordered online was because they didn't have the correct numbers in store, she said she would ask my nearest store if they had them. The next thing I knew I had been transferred through to the store and hadn't been told, nor had the person she had put me through to. I asked if they had the letters and numbers needed but they had run out of some of the letters required, he also couldn't transfer me back through to Customer Services from his phone.
The thought of another 40 minutes listening to how important my call was to them filled me with dread - I was already wondering if I'd be dreaming about it that night. When I called back instead of pressing 2 for customer services I pressed the hash and star keys a few times, amazingly this got me through to the main reception, the lady said she could put me through to the advisors I complained that I couldn't wait in a queue due to being at work she put me through to the customer services manager.
Again I explained what had happened and that I needed a replacement as soon as possible due to an error on their part, I was told there was nothing else I could do except go into store and purchase another returning the incorrect item. I told him I was not prepared to do this and asked under the circumstances whether an exchange in store would be possible, again I was told no. At this point I told him that I would be returning the shirt by special delivery and purchasing elsewhere.
After all of this I rang another sports store and asked if they had the correct sized shirt, letters and numbers in stock. The lady I spoke to confirmed they did, so during my lunch hour I made a trip there and came away with a shirt I was happy to send out to my brother.
This was the first time I had made an order from the Sports Direct website and it will also be the last, whilst I can't fault the speed of service they gave I am shocked that something as simple as checking the order was correct before sending it out was overlooked and the inflexibility when it came to rectifying their mistake was disappointing. I could understand if it was me who had made an error when I ordered.
They did only take two working days to refund my card, and my original postage costs were refunded as well. I'm not sure if this usually happens, but I did request a "full refund including postage" when I sent it back just in case.
I actually only got a reply to my original email the day after I had the refund issued to my card, and a week after I first sent it.

Although if you do need to return anything I would probably recommend doing so by a trackable method (Recorded or Special Delivery) so that they can't claim it has not been received. If you do this though it does mean that you aren't able to benefit from the free postage, I thought this was a small price to pay for the peace of mind of knowing it had actually been received.
I'm having a bit of a dilemma on how many stars to award for this review, on the one hand although my order was wrong everything else was really efficient including the refund but the service from Customer Services was poor. I'm going with one because of this.
(Little brother has received the other shirt I bought & assured me he hasn't opened it yet lol)
