Purchased Asics trail shoes which only lasted 5 minutes before falling apart.Customer services advised me to return them for inspection by manufacturer who agreed they were defective.Was offered an exchange or refund but on electing for exchange was told my size was no longer available.Asked for a refund instead.After much chasing was eventually refunded the cost of shoes ONLY.After much more chasing was refunded the original charge for post & packing.Latest position still chasing my costs incurred in returning the defective goods.Next step - small claims court - only £5 but a matter of principle!!

Just fancied giving this company the just it really deserves, having read reviews online, I couldn't actually believe how narrow minded they actually were, you cant be negative about Sportsshoes.com surely. Many reviews actually made me chuckle to my old self to be honest. I have used this company for around 5 years now (couldn't believe it took me this long to find them) prices are always really cheap, which of course is good news in this generation. In January 2011 i bought 2 pair of trainers,which i returned cause of the wrong size.i returned the trainers with a lot of troubles.(they did´t receive my parcel, until i send them the quittance from the parcel service!!!)since then and about 100 Mails later,i ´m waiting for my refund...there are always "technical errors" and "something went wrong"I call it SCAM.greets wallpe from austriaps: i can post the mail communication if anybody´s interested!peter@hippolytinmotion.at

Never allow cheap prices to tempt you to use this site, their customer service is dreadful. I ordered some trainers which arrived in a week (£4.99) delivery, but they were the wrong ones! I paid to return them asking for refund inclusive of delivery and return postage and surprise, surprise heard nothing. I sent numerous emails which were ignored and had the experience of speaking to several rude, dismissive and unhelpful staff - still awaiting my refund! I cannot stress enough DO NOT USE it's worth the extra to use a reputable company which sportsshoes.com is not!

I ordered a pair of Ascis which arrived promptly. They lasted about 3 weeks before the sole began coming away. I returned them using Royal Mail Proof of posting (first mistake...use recorded delivery). 15 days later and a dozen Emails and like other they say they have not received them.Be warned, customer services advise if prompted that postage can take 15 days, inspection of damaged goods another 2 weeks and a further two weeks for a refund. Over 6 weeks. Cheaper shoes at a cheaper service!
