As Crimble rapidly approaches, I have been doing my usual annual-mammoth-online-shopping-session to stock up on the copious amounts of presents I seem to have to buy these days.....surpriseyourwoman.com has helped me on my quest!

What is surpriseyourwoman.com?
Surpriseyourwoman.com is part of gosurprise LTD organisation.
The website is essentially an online gift shop where all of the products are tailored to women - it would be a good source of inspiration to dumbfounded husbands/boyfriends/'men in general who can't buy women presents' and I have already directed my spouse there!
I have used both surpriseyourwoman.com and surpriseyourman.com in my search for the perfect pressies (the sites surpriseyourmother.com and surpriseyourfather.com are also part of the same company) and I am very impressed by the organisation.

What can I buy at Surpriseyourwoman.com?
There are all sorts of products on offer and most of them are very tasteful: smellies, jewellery, experiences, lingerie, books, choccies & booze and many other quirky ideas.

The products are organised into 7 different categories:
Seduce (lingerie, perfume, jewellery)
Essentials (flowers, bears, chocs)
Escape (makeovers, experiences),
Pamper (bathtime, relaxation, accessories)
Home (bedroom, living, food and drink)
Adrenaline (flying, driving, sport activities)
Stimulate (games, books, romance & sexy stuff!)

Products can also be viewed by price range and there is a Clearance section for special offers.
I would say that there's something for everyone here; I have bought my mum 'smellies' from here before and my best friend her birthday present - the same can be said for surpriseyourman.com.

Is it expensive?
Surpriseyourwoman.com is not the cheapest online gift store around, but I do believe you get what you pay for. I have found the quality of products I have bought is very high, delivery has
been prompt and the purchases were well packaged. Standard postage and packaging costs from £4.25 and each time I have ordered, things have been delivered within 2 days.
On each purchase they have included tissue paper and a gift bag for wrapping at no extra cost.

What is the website like?
The website is easy to use with a clear layout. On the homepage the 'Hottest Buys', 'Top Gift Ideas', 'Just In', 'Seasonal Specials' and Bestsellers are displayed or, at the top of the screen, you can click onto the previously mentioned categories to go straight to a particular section.
Every product is accompanied by a thumbnail photo and description so you can see exactly what you're buying.
It is easy enough to shop at the site; if you see a product you like just add it to your basket which will tot everything up for you - when you have included everything you want, proceed to the checkout where delivery costs will be added and you can make payment by credit card (Switch and cheque are also valid methods of payment). A confirmation email is sent when you have placed your order.
The site is secure (the Verisign logo displayed) so you shouldn't worry about paying by credit card, Secure Socket Layers (SSL) are used to protect your data.
Their telephone number is clearly displayed in case you have any problems or prefer to order by phone and there is also a Help/FAQ section on the site.
I have found the site to load quickly and I have not experienced any problems when using it.

Extras:
I've already mentioned the free packaging and wrapping (worth £2.50) which is a nice little extra; you can opt for them to wrap the gift for you or else (like me) they will send you the stuff so that you can wrap it yourself.
There is also a 'Reminder Service' where you can create a profile and fill in a diary with dates to remember, so you have no excuse to miss your woman's birthday
ever again! I have not actually used this tool, but it's something I may make use of at surpriseyourman.com!

Overall:
There's a good selection of gifts with a variety of price-tags and I'm sure there's something that would appeal to everyone on here. I have found each purchase that I've made hassle-free and delivered promptly and in good condition.
