I have been shopping with SVP since they were a small concern based in Devon with friendly staff who were available by phone. These days they have gotten way too big for their boots and forgotten who has given them their success, ie, their customers. I bought some carpy discs from them just over a year ago, as it had lifetime guarantee printed on them I didn't figure I needed to open them right up and get burning. Shame, obviously I should have. This is quite a hard review to write as I have had a lot of good experiences buying from SVP. I have been a long time customer of SVP communications. SVP specialises in computer related products such as blank discs, inks, hard drives and slightly more unusual items ( I bought astronaut Ice cream from there!). I have found that SVP has good value for money as I have found very reliable blank discs which sell cheaper than they do anywhere else (even cheaper than ebay). Warning SVP have changed hands.!! It is not the same company. I bought a Dell laptop from the original company in Sep 07. It was advertised and supposedly came with a 3 year Dell onsite warranty. The hard drive failed after less than 2 years. I then find that the machine is not covered by Dell as it had already elapsed in May 09. On contacting SVP they tell me that it is not the same company and that they are not interested. If you bought a machine from this company then I would seriously check your Warranty. I won't be using them again.

I placed an order for 7 packs of toner for my work place. When the order arrived there was clearly only 6 toner cartridges. I sent them an email to query this and they responded with an email telling me that I am wrong because they sent the correct quantity. I replied and told them there's no way they sent me the correct quanitity as I am looking at 6 but I ordered 7, my email says 7 and they have taken payment for 7! Bought some dvd+rs from this company as a recommendation from a friend. Not only were the discs incredibly dirty, like they had been at the bottom of a warehouse for about a decade but they also arrived damaged. I sent an email to their 'help desk' and did not get a reply, even after a week. I sent them another email and eventually received a reply, 'The damage was cased by the courier we use, we will have to contact them about it'. Well, now almost a month has passed and I am no closer to getting anything sorted, they are not replying to any of my emails. Useless company run by useless idiots.
