When it comes to purchasing salon brand hand and nail care products I always choose TailorMade Nails. As an independent online retailer (refreshing compared to big corporations like amazon and boots etc) I find their service second to none. Salon lines (such as Creative Nail Design) can be difficult to get a hold of unless your salon stocks them (this can be pricey) or you find them on ebay. Seeing as I'd rather buy beauty products from an actual 'shop' than ebay, TailorMade Nails has become one of my favourite online shops. Here's why...

Great Service:
For a start the postage prices are very reasonable. Not always super cheap, but you can see that the postage calculator is being fair. If you're ordering lots of weighty bottles of course the postage will go up. I like to wait until I need a few things and buy them all together.

Every delivery I've had from TMN has been very prompt. A day or two at the most. You can choose where you'd like the package to be sent to (no need to have it delivered to your billing address) I usually get mine sent to work. Because the delivery is so prompt though sometimes I've timed my order so that it arrives in the Saturday post. Which is nice.

The items always come very well wrapped in bubblewrap and then usually in a bubble envelope. No bottles or tubs have been damaged in my experience. Sometimes I think there's too much bubble wrap! It can be a pain to get into! But at least there's been no nasty accidents in the post. Phew!

The team at TMN have always been on the ball with answering emails too. And there's a function within your account on the site to remind you when products come back into stock.

Simple and Secure Shopping Experience:
The site is simply set out. You can search by brand, category and by keyword. Once you log in there's a list on the page of your recent purchases and I find this very handy because I'm usually stocking up on my favourites.
Product information is detailed with clear product images and it always says how many they have of each item in stock. This is great because I hate how on some sites you get to the checkout and realise that part of your order will be delayed because of stock levels.

The checkout procedure is clear and easy to navigate and I usually pay by paypal for quickness though they have a secure credit/debit card payment function too.

Comprehensive Product Range:
It has to be said that most of the products on the site are of little use to me (Nail acrylics, gels, tools for nail enhancements, salon equipment etc) but rest assured if you're in the professional nail biz then you're sure to find what you're looking for on here as the range is so so vast. I mainly shop around the manicure / hand and nail care areas for various files and creams where you can find mini sizes of lotions and potions, all the way up to the huge salon sizes which can be excellent value for money.

My favourite lines from TMN are:
Solar Oil - I must do a review on this, it's the bees knees when it comes to cuticle oil.
CND Almond lotion / butter / scrubs - this is an excellent range of hand care products enriched with almond oil, vitamin e and jojoba oil.

Usually these products can only be found in a nail salon / beauty bar. But even then you find that they don't stock the whole range, only have the dinky bottles and everything usually has a big mark up on the price. I know I can always get these from TMN, that the price is good (usually better than ebay prices if the products can be found on there) and I won't have to wait much at all before I have the items with me.

I love TailorMade Nails (and I've looked and looked elsewhere for other sites that might do the same ranges - but I never could find any that matched up to TMN) and it's their consistent service, good prices and easy to use shopping site that keep me going back.

I've already sent a 'Thank you so much' email to the team at TMN so they already know how pleased I am with their site. I just placed an order the other day and again I was impressed and thought I should really get round to telling everyone on dooyoo about their fab online shop.
