Advantages: Cheap, Good customer service
Disadvantages: Poor levels of detail on products, Cheaper companies
Well my friend first introduced me to this site he said "Sam, you know a bit about computers how would you like to make loads of money". Well anyway I said why yes i'm no dolt i'd love to make lots of money. Anyway to cut a long story short it turned out that Tekheads (a small fish in a large pool) had managed to put the decimal point in the wrong place in one of their prices. Rather then selling AMD XP1500+ processors at £108, they were selling them for £1.18. Well i'm no fool and bought 30 the next day they phoned up to say my order was cancelled. This annoyed me slightly as you can imagine. After a long set of haranguing and various discourse it became clear to me that they were welshing on the deal. So I gave up. The website is a compendium, they supply a huge number of parts components in fact you name it they probably have it. They must have warehouses full of stock. Thats not to say there website is well made its rather dull but then given the amount of information they have on it, its hardly surprising they have few photos and little detail. The staff at Tekheads were fairly friendly and they returned every email within the promised 2 hours. If asked whether I would shop there again. Yes I probably would, thats not to say I will because there are alot of other people around who supply the same things cheaper, or cheaper delivery or a better website. Basically a good website with only minor flaws but better deals to be had else where.

DrSeuss - 17/11/01 Well in esscence yes. But the contract of sale is completed when they accept payment. They never debited my card so they have no legal obligation to give me the items I purchased. Shame really
